I didn't take either of their deaths hard. It could be that I'm a heartless bastard, but it probably is because death doesn't matter to me.
George Carlin is such an inspiration to me. In fact I hold him in almost as much esteem as Bill Hicks. Both were furious at the world and weren't afraid to talk about anything. Few people could make occasional sex jokes and still be taken seriously as important political commentators. They taught me to get involved, read all different papers, watch the news, vote, take action. I will love them both forever.
