I hate her music, but i'm not so bankrupt of character that i'd extend that hatred to a 14 year old girl whom i've never met. Seriously, those people sending death threats and shit can go to hell.

I have some contempt for parents who give Ark Records money.

It kinda depresses me about society a little.
But only if I really think about it. On a day to day basis, I really don't care one way or another about her. I am no more likely to buy (or even listen to) her music than I am a dozen other genres and thousand other performers.
Though as an English teacher, they lyricist for Friday should be taken out to the desert, beaten with rusty sewage pipes, and left for carrion eaters.

sigh... again... she didn't write the songs. she has a crap studio that she's signed up to. it could have happened to anyone. and to the people who hate her, what the heck were you doing at 14?
I hope she can drop this studio and sign with another, but it might be a contracting problem. ideally, if she could get on with disney, she'd be made.

I hate her music and I think she should've kept herself (or her loved ones should've kept her) from getting into it.
Anyway, it's just easy to hate her. It makes the bullies feel popular. It's not like they'll actually kill her, but like I said, it's just easy to hate her, so why not? (I know why not, obviously, but these idiots at her school don't).

Because she doesn't deserve the fame she has. She hasn't spend years perfecting hes craft, he just did stuff... Also her music is awful to my taste.

Some people who are actually moderately talented spend a lot of their own money and half of their lives trying to get famous in one way or another. But it never seems to pan out, they either don't have the funds to launch themselves, the time (with having to keep yourself afloat by working a real job) or no one will pick them up.
Blacks parents poured $$$ all over the studio and they made their daughter famous, really whether she actually wanted to follow through with it or not. Following in her footsteps is equally untalented Jenna Rose. Jenna is not only younger then Black, one of her latest video is considered to most highly disturbing and many people tried to flag it for child abuse and over sexualization of a minor. Her parents keep pouring money at the studio and are always on set. Like a lot of children of stars before her; Kardashians, Hiltons, Nicole Richie, Osbournes, Hogans, etc. Black is basically just famous for no reason other then her parents shelling out money for her to be in the limelight, and that drives some people up the wall. But even so, there really is nothing that justifies people treating her so severely that she can't even be safe in school.

I find her song to be a piece of crap, but I don't HATE her. In fact, her continued existence or death wouldn't give me pause for thought.

In the 80s, if you didn't like something, you had no internet to rage on. You wined to your small group of friends & put it behind you.

Because while most people have to work hard their whole life, others have their parents pay someone a couple thousand to write a song for them that makes millions. I technically can't hate her personally, but I hate the concept of her success and everything around it and that's close enough for most.
