When a thread is funny but "inappropriate" why does everyone report?
I don't mean useless thread with no discussion
if its funny why does it matter???

edit: i don't mean threads about fetish porn or overly inappropriote stuff i just mean random funny threads, which the majority of which ive been on have been full of people posting "report"

I don't know why people report. I don't even understand why someone got a probation or suspension half the time. I don't see anything inappropriate in that thread.

Because this place isn't b. If you want stupid often racist threads then there are places for that, this isn't one of them.

I don't know why but quite a few stupid threads have poped up lately, that is not a good thing.

If its against the rules, then it matters. It also wasnt that funny, unless youre 15, then i can understand.

It's not funny, it's not good for discussion, and it really is simply here to fuck with the minds of those of us with an imagination that creates a picture of such things.

Because we need to keep the rules here intact. We pride ourselves on being a better community. Sort of a safe haven for discussion and debate, if you will. If we let it slide and don't report, then more and more people may think "Well, I might just get away with that if I do it too..." and that leads to trouble.

Again, only an idea, and a far-fetched one at that. But people work in weird ways.

Hmm, I was just on that thread having this discussion.
I don't get why people reported it, it didn't seem offensive or innappropriate.

People don't report Zero Punctuation for swearing and the arguably 18+ use of metaphors. It's basically the same principle so I honestly don't get why people do it unless it's grossly offensive which that thread wasn't.
