Poll: Why shouldn't I convert to Islam?

I'm thinking about following Islam but my friends keep telling me not to. When I ask them to give me three reasons not to, they can't think of anything. So I am essentially looking for three reasons I should not become a Muslim.

Don't see why not i'm catholic and it works for me also you go the multiple wifes thing

just only do it if your going to take it very seriously rather than just posting it on a forum so you can get your hot topic award

Sure, all we really need is a religion that treats people the way we think they should be treated. Hell, why not just start your own, to heck with tradition?! SQUEEGER

This thread made me think about a sketch by a Dutch comedian. He says

"Muslims in the middle-east have started a Jihad to convert everyone on the planet to the Islam, and I say let them. If we all become muslim they won't know what to do anymore. And at that point there's REALLY a large group of us. Then again, it'd be more fun if everybody became a muslim and we didn't tell one guy... Imagine the look on the guy's face when everybody's poking eachother saying 'Heh, look at that non-muslim'."

Shamefully it's not as brilliant when written down.

Considering that comedian has never heard of Sunni and Shia, it's not that funny said aloud, either.

Perhaps if you lack a sense of humor, it isn't. Seeing as it does really matter jack-all for the joke.

Yeah, I have a mind imaginitive enough to think of how that could be said aloud, and I gotta say, it WAS pretty funny. I mean, i didn't know jokes were supposed to be based of facts. I thought they were supposed to be entertaining. Too bad nobody really gives one about sunni or shia, the newest musical duo to hit the scene. Check out their new hit, 'i got you babe!' In stores wherever squiggers' mom is sold.
