Dude, the attempt at humour is appreciated but a joke is only a joke when its funny. This is borderline spam.

Because I didn't have enough money for a PS3, wasn't willing to shell out $400 for a console and the 360 had a larger variety of games at the time.

I already owned a wii, I was tired of playing party games SSBB and No more Heroes repeatedly teh PS3 was to expensive and had to few games whereas as lotof my friends owned 360's it was affordable and had a lot of games out for it. So the Xbox 360 was the logical solution...

Honestly I don't know, it just sits there looking lonely until I decide to try and play it again get going for 5 mins then go back to my comp. That said I think all this gens consoles have failed either their fans (Nintendo im looking at you) or just failed (Hi Sony!).

Got mine the Christmas the 360 launched (it was '06 i believe).

Several reasons I chose the 360 over the Triple
-Better lineup of exclusives. When the triple came out, it was almost bone-dry on good exclusive titles for the longest time.
-The 360 was $200 cheaper. Come on, $600 is way too expensive, also throw onto that $60 for every game...yeesh.
-Much larger online community. I believe 3-4 of my friends have triples, and they dont see hardly anyone of the Playstation network. XBL has hundreds of thousands of players on one or two titles.
-This ties in with the cheaper console, but, almost every good game that was on the Triple was also on the 360 (Oblivion, Call of Duty 4, and later Fallout 3 and Call of Duty 5)

Essentially, there isn't much that the triple has over the 360. I've seen blu-ray, and it isn't that impressive. Or at least not impressive enough to justify $200 on the console or ten more dollars for blu-ray movies.

I don't know the triple's break-rate, but it's bound to be better than the 360. But while the 360 does break a lot, Microsoft makes up for it with Warranties. I'm on my 4th console, and haven't had to pay a cent to get it repaired...thanks to warranty.

Oh, and bad attempt at trolling btw.

I brought a 360 because unlike PS3, more games on the 360 actually appeal to me a great deal, whereas I cant name a single PS3 title that I feel I truly *need*. MGS4 could have come close, but I just havent felt motivated to play an MGS game since Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation in 98.

Stands for "Red Ring of Death". Its where the power lights on the 360 all light up red, most likely signaling critical motherboard failure, basically meaning your console is fucked and needs repairs (that Microsoft will most likely and rightly pay for). People talk like its the greatest disgrace in gaming ever, but my piece of shit Wii has had its fair share of faults too. A buzzing power brick that freezes the console and makes you think "electrical fire" does not a pleasant gaming experience make.

Anyways, just because of Halo 3.

And because I would like to see Sony die in a fire fueled by its own money, and all their PS3s!

. . .

-Straightens his tie-

Just...kidding...

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. Because you said "fanboys" in your previous message I thought it was some title on the triple.

Because the PS3 didn't have Mass Effect, Assassin's creed, Bioshock, or The Orange Box at the time and it still doesn't have Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.
