thats what really annoys me, its nothing personal towards you and im not accusing you of being a fanboy
but why do people use a phrase like
i have a PS3 and i love my PS3 but i also like the 360, as far as im concerned the only difference is the 1st/2nd party games. HALO and GoW are awesome but then again so are MGS4 and LBP.
theres only one thing that bugs me about the 360 and thats the placing of the x button, everytime i play a 360 and i says onscreen or a freind says "press x" then i press the bottom button.
in terms of which is best, its swings and roundabouts

Well I prefer the interface, I prefer the online capabilities and abilities. The controls are more comfortable and no time has been wasted on a six axis like motion thingy what is completely pointless. I like having a wired headset as its one less thing to charge, as my control and my head are not that far apart in use that it requires another wireless product. I like the auto-switch ability on the xbox instead on the PS3 where you have to manually change the output type and then confirm it by having to switch the the channel the signal should be on and press OK before the time runs out. EDIT: Oh and I also like the fact that the 360 is smaller so I can put it in more places, I like the fact that it doesn't attract dust like the PS3, I like the fact I can completely turn off the Xbox from my control, instead of the PlayStation off button just going into standby so I have to go around the back of my unit to turn it off fully. I just keep on finding reasons why I think its better than the PS3.
EDIT 2: I also prefer the people on xbox live. My brother has PSN and all the people on there are just retarded, I mean very bad. At lest on Xbox live there are some nice people out there.
EDIT 3: I also like the fact the xbox is just a box. Boxes are easier to fit into places as most things are designed to hold box objects like DVD players and such. The shape of the PS3 may look 'trendy', but its impractical.
I got my 360 for Halo 3.

My PC can run pretty much everything at high settings (I'm that badass), so that wasn't really a factor.
I got the PS3 for all the exclusives. When I got it, I got the Moterstorm bundle, and with that game I got Rathcet and Clank, Resistance, and Warhawk.
Basically I got the 360 for the online play with friends and 3rd party titles.
I got my PS3 because it had more exlusives I wanted.
And I spend a fair amount of time on both consoles.
But I recently got Team Fortress 2 on my PC, so now thats taking up all of my time.

Bought a PS3 year it came out. A total of 1 person had it at my school. I was 13 :]. Anyways, I got a 360 last year because my friends wouldn't stop nagging me and I was bored of playing games on my own all the time. When it may aswell be a guarantee that at least one of your friends will be on 360 whenever you're on.
I still think the PS3 is a better console and I definitely couldn't live without LittleBigPlanet but Xbox is by far the console I've had the most fun on.
