I really dont know. Its either Dragon Age 2 or Crysis 2. Its a really tough choice. Guess i'll make my decision soon. I will buy Dragon Age 2 sometime, just dont know when I will

It's a bioware RPG...
it's a no-brainer for me XD
I'm a sucker for RPG's and when I came across theirs RPG's some time ago I jumped onto the Bioware Wagon XD.

I personally love the gameplay changes and even then it's so small. It feels different as the actions and attacks are more moving and awesome rather than the "sword shuffle" or the "Staff Poke"

Not to sure about the ME2 style conversation wheel but I'll find out sooner or later.

And I've already bought it, way before the signature edition deal ended, so I'm just waiting for that hot black box to arrive.

Agreed. It seems kind of silly to get games made by a developer whose production choices you don't like.

Also I've been waiting since January 4th for my signature edition... 13 days left.

It's the very beginning of the game and a later quest when you pick up a party character called Isabella. The first part is probably taken straight from the game with Hawke and his Family fleeing Lothering, I would say mild spoilers. The second part really it bypasses most of the story just telling you enough to figure what is happening. If you really want to go in 100% blank that's fine but I really don't think the demo will harm any real story.

I had never played Dragon Age Origins, so when I saw the demo for DA2 then I thought I'd give it a shot. I liked it. I liked the combat feeling more like an action game and of course I love Bioware's story-telling.

But, the sad reality is I'm a grad student living 700 miles from home with no job/steady income of any kind. I think buying groceries from week to week takes precidence over buying what I'm sure will be a fun game.

Didn't keep me from getting Origins for $15 (and Fallout 3 for $15....shut up I know I'm late. I never got around to playing it ok?)


But yeah, once i get a job and/or the price goes down I'll pick it up and sacrifice everything going on in my life.

Preordered signature edition when I first saw it advertised in the UK. Played through DA;O way too many times, and DA;O;A several times. Can't wait.

I loved DA:O, so much so that I sold my copy and bought the Ultimate edition and started a second playthrough. I preordered the Dragon Age 2 Bioware Signature Edition, really looking forward to it.

Sort of no, it depends on how you define a spoiler. There's an early-game death, but that's literally in the first five minutes or so. Other than that, this is before/during the events of DA:O so I guess it could spoil that OH NO WE LOST AT OSTAGAR.

I don't think they went all the way in Mass Effecting it, it plays a lot like the original on the PC, save for the dialogue wheel. Even the dialogue wheel isn't that bad. Up is friendly and down is hostile, with icons describing the tone of your lines. Overall it's good, though I miss the old BG2-style dialogue trees (such is the price of progress).


Mind you, the demo doesn't let you use full DX11 options, the inventory or change your character's design (to keep down the filesize, I am told).

I'm going to pass on Dragon Age 2. I was so put off by the bug that didn't allow you to position your team strategically on the 360 that I didn't finish the game. Knowing Bioware that's going to leave me not enjoying some of the references/back-story.
