i shall wait but eventually i will get it as long as the missions are better than go here, shoot stuff, grab something, come home. if the missions are clever and varied like oblivion i'm all there

I loved Fallout 3 with a fucking passion, so yeah I'll probably get it. I'm not so worried that a different developer is handing it, because they were behind KOTOR 2, which is one of my favorite games ever.

I'll buy it as soon as I can.

After I heard about it coming out this fall, I was so excited.
I had a great time with Fallout 3, but after playing it 10 times, it starts to get boring.

Hell yeah, and if I weren't already buying Halo: Reach's $80 Limited Edition, I'd buy the Collector's Edition. I loved Fallout 3, and Vegas just looks bigger, better, more, and Hardcore mode sells it for me.

I barely know anything about it, but I guess I will.

Is it even a game, or is it just like Point Lookout?

I'll pick it up once its fairly cheap,i enjoyed fallout 3 but the combat was dull and too easy. Hardcore mode fixes this. Im also hoping for a story that isnt embarassingly bad, although with Obsidian at the helm i have high hopes for this.

I'll be getting it. I loved Fallout 3, so it seems like a no-brainer to me.

I think so. I've not really read much about it so I don't know how far beyond Fallout 3 in a different setting it is but I enjoyed the heck out of that.
Though I might do the same as Broady and wait for the GotY edition. All the DLC for F3 cost a fortune.

I'll probably buy it, maybe the CE,
did the same with F3, and i love my Vault-Tec lunchbox.
Still...DLC...argh...a GOTY would be handy...
Argh...decisions, decisions..

I think its worth it. I absolutely loved Fallout 3, and even if New Vegas will be different, it seems to be similar enough to be worth giving a fair shot. I dont see why it wont be a great game... yet.

Absolutely will pick this one up. Given that the original Fallout team is working on it means it would be near sacrilege for me NOT to pay them many caps to play this game!

Definitely. I love games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion, I really wish there were more out there that offered that level of immersion.

On a side note, Fallout 3 lost the same spark Fallout 1 and 2 had. I couldn't really explain it, but i learned to love Fallout 3 as much as i did with Oblivion when i didn't treat it as a part of the 'franchise'. I guess i just felt Fallout 1 and 2 was grittier, whereas Fallout 3 seemed a bit almost comical at times. Particularly some of the late game revelations.

Yes, yes, and yes again. I dumped an obscenely large amount of hours into Fallout 3 and its various delicious tidbits of DLC.

I plan to do it again, gladly.
