Probably 40-ish because then Iwill have kids that take away time from my gaming and slowly I will stop playing them, but maybe I will not get kids to get more time at playing future games that have awesome graphics and hopefully better gameplay :]

Older gamers are great. Found a youtube video about a gamer who was nearly 50.
He was playing an FPS (MW2 I think) and you could easily the experience in his plays. He was really patient, really tactical. Racked up a really high K/D.

I was very impressed.

Never. If I do end up dying of natural causes, I intend for my corpse to be found in a chair with a controller in my hand. If I'm feeling melodramatic, the screen will be displaying a game over screen.

Of course, I'd prefer my death to be slightly more exciting than that. Preferably hysterically funny.

I'll be 35 this year, been gaming since 1982, so...yes. (It's more entertaining than TV, after all.)

I will never stop gaming until I can't because the arthritis is too much. I will honest;y be 40 years old and be able to whoop a 13 years old punk's ass at Call of Duty.

Being 32 years old at the moment and no stop-line in the horizon for me. I figure that I will play till it is not possible for me anymore. I might slow down when I get kids.

I'll be gaming till I won't be able to move the mouse around on the mouse pad anymore. Hopefully by the time I'm too old to move the mouse, matrix-like VR will be invented so i won't have to worry about peripherals.

That was the first thing I thought when I saw this poll, being a sprightly 31 years of age.

*shakes fist* You durned kids, get off mah internets!

Seriously though, I plan to keep gaming as long as it stays fun and I have the time to support it, though table-top RPGs have been vexing me lately. It is damned hard to find players who are not still in school, and I'm a bit long in tooth and grey in beard to keep running games for college kids :p Video games... well, until the technology outpaces my paycheck I suppose, and I will always have my Dreamcast!

I'm not that much older, but I think I may have seen the clip too and I aspire to that level of zen killing shit (does that sentence actually work?)

I'm 17, and I'm finding almost every single games these days bad. So... I won't quit gaming because I don't like it anymore, I'll quit gaming because of the cavalcade of bad games.

32 mate so I feel your pain... mosly in my joints on cold mornings ;-)

I have had to resort to teaching my nephews (11, 14 & 16) Runequest. It was always my favourite but like you, friends my age have all got kids and other resource hogs meaning that they have had to retire and I'm left NOT holding any babies - which is a good thing.

If heading towards 30 counts as older. Still gaming, and doing it when I should be working on a project :p Still an excellent distraction, after nearly 20 years of it.
