computers, i really do, ive had many different computers over the years from the box to my current flat screen.
Computers have made massive changes over the years for better.
But ive got to say "The wireless mouse is evil!!!".
First off it always wastes batteries, i go through at least 6 batteries per month and they cost me a fortune. second is they alway go glitchy when they run out of batteries and third there a pain to install.
honestly are they really worth it? whats your opinion?

I love my wireless mouse. It's never given me any problems, I didn't have to install anything, and my battery lasts like three months even though I never turn the mouse off.

I loved my wireless mouse. It actually always amazed me how long it took it to use up a battery (it only ran on one, and it always took so many months between when I put in a new battery and when it needed replaced that it always took me a couple minutes to figure out why it wasn't working when the battery ran out). Unfortunately, one of the buttons on it broke, and since I've been too lazy to replace it I've been stuck using the wired mouse from my old computer, which is a pain. The wire's winding about the mess of random shit on my desk, always getting in the way. I never realized how much I would miss my wireless mouse until it was already too late for me to tell it how I felt about it.

I love wirless stuff once they're all past the dumb stage of connecting both the keyboard and mouse. I am using an optical mouse at the moment though because I'm too fat to buy another.

My mouse's batteries seem to last for ages. It's been about 6 months since I changed them. It's precise and installing it took a couple of minutes tops. I suggest you get a new mouse.

I hate them, they are slow sometimes unresponsive, pain in the ass when it drops out, my mates had trouble with them when someone else was using other appliances with them, chew threw batteries and the batteries always seem to die at the worst of times (like when you've just lined up a nice little HS then you find you cant click, then realize you cant move). Also I miss the feel of the wire on a mouse.

I play competitive RTS and FPS on the PC, so wireless is not an option. Even if it were, I wouldn't go that way.

I have no problems with wireless, my parents got a wireless mouse and keyboard 4 years ago, never had to change the keyboard batteries yet and the mouse is rechargable.

Wireless mouses aren't bad. Have one myself. Only thing is that it needs to be recharged after 8 hours for 1 hour or so (have an older one). For the rest, nah, everything I can do with a cable I will. It is more stable and safer than wireless.

I use a wireless keyboard, it only drops out occasionally and it's mostly bearable. But my wireless mouse is a real bastard; it failed to work so frequently that I've just gone back to using a regular mouse. It refused to connect, was slow and sluggish, and basically just gave me hell.

My Wireless gear worked pretty well, no real problems at all. Only time I had problems was with the expense on batteries.

Nothing wrong with wireless mice, as long as you get the right kind. My Razer is both wired and wireless and has the exact same response time when it's on wireless as when it's plugged in. The battery life is a little low, but it comes with a charger instead of having to buy new batteries.

Thing is, I never unplug my mouse unless I need to use it on a different computer or a laptop.

My experience has been that they are never as responsive as I like them to be. For all that hassle I might as well use an old mouse with a ball bearing. I prefer wired optical mouses, they're very sensitive.

There are two solutions for wireless mouse troubles:

1. Get a wireless mouse with a recharging dock. After using it, attach it to the dock and let it charge for the night. You'll never need batteries again.

2. Get rechargeable alkaline batteries. The batteries are dead? Well, take them out and throw them into a wall charger for a couple of hours. Usually you'd have two sets so when you put the dead ones in, you can take the full ones out and use them. And they last for years.

But I digress. My main gripe with wireless mice is how glitchy they are period. Sometimes the infrared or bluetooth signals don't register correctly and the pointer goes flying all over the place, randomly clicking shit. That's why I use an optical wired mouse. I'll let the wireless stuff get some more tech behind it before I fully endorse it.
