Finally an honest answer. Thank you sir.tenlong said:I think all the current current console controllers has flaws. The 360 's bad dpad. The wiimote selective sensing at time.[The wii controllers sometimes does the opposite of what you do.} the ps3 controllers shoulder bottons. The ps3 is my favorite. The 360 controller is good but i am scared to use the d pad during a fighting game. The wiimote is good when it decides to work perfectily.
What about all the other controllers? Like the snes pad, orig nes. the 64?, atari joystick, keyboard mouse, game cube, power glove, genesis, bulky dreamcast thing, etc etc etc..
But out of what you listed the original Larger release Xbox controller wins hands down. That thing was god awful fat heavy and the black and white buttons were just >.<
However...The Robotic Operating Buddy (R.O.B.) however will always hold this title as grandmaster champion of all useless and horrible controlling interfaces. If are old enough to know what the hell im talking about, and lucky enough to have actually owned one.. *wipes a tear*..then yes.
But i do have to take a potshot here. There's alot of dissin the 64 controller. And im not sure why. ALl this yea you need 3 hands blah blah, no really you didn't though. it was either d-pad and buttons, or toggle and buttons, (unless either or was used for say..bringing up a map or inventory of some sort) I can't recall one game that required me using every button switch and pad frantic and spastically in order to do or control something in a game. Yes it looked silly, and the whole idea of it being designed with different holding positions for your hands was pretty dumb (yes that was the purpose of the claw look). But to me honestly it never really affected gameplay, and never ruined any game for me. So back off
