I'd tend to go the other way XD, I play Tyranids and all the Fantasy players i know look down on you and consider Fantasy far superior
thats cause it is ;)

But I do agree on the Space Marine comment, only high pitched little kids play them and talk about how they could kick anybodys ass in a fight.

hmm that sounds familiar...

Have had my current PC for two or three years now. No BSoD yet. Running XP Professional.

So much for you.

Also, http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant
Presumably, you linked to a page of offensive abuse because you were scared that if you used any of these 'naughty words' you would be reported and possibly banned.

All Fantards are equally annoying. If HAD to specify a single type I would have to forever say Mactards, they can take their mac book and shove it up their ass and choke on their iphones for all I care.
Yeah they can do that while being safe in the knowledge that their macbook or iphone is inherently better than other companies' equivalent product

Lemme see Nintendrones, Sony Defense Forces, Xbots, Halo, and Mac Fanboys can screw off. And if you know where I got the names from, good for you. Mac fanboys always act like their computer is the best thing in the world and that Windows PC can screw itself because Mac is so much better in every way.

While all fanboys are created equal I would say that Half Life/Valve fanboys do make that extra push to get my attention due to the fact that while other fanboys are often chastised and put in their place very quickly the sneakier HL fan will often join in with the anti-fanboy crusaders and escapre the proverbial gallows.

Honestly, we all make jokes about Nintendo fans and Halo fans but when was the last time we all got together and had a laugh at the expense of a Valve fan? It's only fair that we all gang up on them at some point (let's be fair here).

People are just assuming that "anti-fanboys" only exist because they hate fanboys. Just because you hate fanboys doesn't mean you can actually like things. All fanboys do is blindly hold one or more things in such high regard that they would rather die than have someone insult their "precious".

For me, Halo fanboys can eat a fat one. Less than a week ago, some little kid said "F*ck you I have a 9 inch dick!" and I responded by saying "Ya, you have a 9 inch dick, up your ass.", but I don't think anyone could hear me over the rambling of little kids, so it wasn't as funny.

The only fanboys I don't charge at with a bloody hockey stick are fanboys who don't bother regular fans, or regular people. Also, I hate "anti-anti-fanboys" because all they do is rant about anti-fanboys.

So big deal, you know how I get BsoD? from my OWN fucking mistakes. If I get that it's because I fucked up doing something not the other way around which is the common case with MAC and me. I do nothing and the damn thing shits itself like an untrained puppy. Funny since I have had zero problems with windows since forever, MY personal fuck ups excluded.

Pah, every product I have seen from apple is nothing special in my eyes. I hope you were being sarcastic in your remark because I have never seen an apple product that has outmatched someone else s product in terms of functionality and quality.

In that respect both PC and Mac elitists are as bad as each other, don't get me wrong I will fight to the death on the side of the PC against the Mactards at my college, unfortunately part of the reason I hate Mac users so much is the very same reason I hate PC elitists, I prefer console gaming, it doesn't mean I only use my 360, and whilst halo 3 is my favourite game of all time and I want a master chief tattoo :D it doesnt mean halo is the only series of games I play, neither does it mean I won't occasionally play resistance or fifa on my mates PS3, or flail about on the force unleashed on my other mates wii, so for me the console war doesn't seem worth it, each console has their individual merits etc etc.

But PCs versus consoles? THAT is a fanboy war for the next generation!

Whilst I play a vast array of games on my PC (Guild Wars, Red Faction, C&C Red alert, Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption, Starcraft, Warcraft III etc etc) I prefer the gameplay experience on my 360, is it because the controller is more ergonomic than the keyboard and mouse(IMHO)? yes, is it because the control schemes for games are so much simpler yet intuitive? yes, is it because playing halo 3 on a 40-something inch LCD screen in 1080p HD with custom Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound gaming headphones is a gaming experience that is so beyond anything I could possibly hope to entertain on the PC? yes!

But despite all this I still enjoy playing games on the PC, given the option I would be buying the games for the 360, regardless of genre, (I don't suffer from the supposed affliction that causes RTSes not to function right on a console, having got the recent C&C titles and halo wars on my 360 and playing absolutely brilliantly), but sometimes the odd flick of the mouse is a welcome alternative to moving my thumbs over a well worn analog stick, sure I can't get the sensitivity "just" right for me (even with a custom weighted mouse), neither am I ever likely to learn how to enjoy being confined to a chair and desk, which makes my arms, back and neck feel uncomfortable no matter how I position myself, this doesnt make one a console fanboy does it?
Regardless I still encounter PC users who look upon me as some sort of retarded pet monkey due to my preference for consoles when gaming both professionally and for pleasure, how does a preference for console gaming, and specifically the 360 gaming make me inferior to PC users in any way?

I love how these threads never fail to bring out the Fanboys, and all of them inevitably end in a flame war.

The worst kind of fanboy is me. ALL OF YOUR SYSTEMS AND GAMES ARE INFERIOR TO MINE!

That is all.

I say all fan boys in general because if you dont agree with them they just whine and whine and whine. really who gives a shit? if you like the game/system great and if you truly enjoy it fine just dont start screaming at other people for liking different shit. I personally prefer ps3 over other systems but i can agree that the others have some good games.

I'm gonna say Halo fan boys are the worst, though they're all pretty bad

The Halo fanboys are really, really, really bad; however the Final Fantasy fanboys are in a league of their own when it comes to annoyance and sheer pig-headedness.

Fallout fanboys.

I never even knew they existed until around Fallout 3 came out, and the negative, poorly thought-out reactions to the third game made me kind of sick. Even before the game came out, it seemed like almost all comments I heard were about how it was just Oblivion with guns (a semi-true statement, to be fair) or how 1st person would ruin the game forever.

Now I've never played Fallouts 1+2 to be fair, but I have a difficult time imagining they are the shining beacon of perfection the fanboys claim them to be. I went to a Fallout community forum once, and the topics in the Fallout 3 section consisted mostly of: "Why Fallout 3 sucks," "Did Fallout 3 ever have a chance?", "Why I don't consider Fallout 3 to be canon," etc. I remember one thread dissing the game because the Enclave apparently only should've existed on the west coast, and it made no sense that it was in D.C. Fair enough, but then I read another about how the soundtrack in Fallout 3 sucked, because the songs were too obviously chosen and had no thought behind them, or something like that. It doesn't get much more anal than that.

I didn't mean to offend any of you, I'm sure Fallouts 1/2 were great games. But when a brand new developer pulls your favorite franchise from the grave and makes a brand new game, you ought to thank them, not endlessly complain that they didn't make it EXACTLY like the old games.
I loved Fallout and Fallout 2 and I loved Fallout 3. What did they expect another game identical to one released TEN years ago.
