The fundamental problem with Mr. Boll is he makes these game movies without any real knowledge of what the games are actually ABOUT. Blood Rayne was a horror thriller with Nazi's and tits, WW2-Punk as I like to call it, not a goddamned.. medieval... whatever it was I didn't see it.
The dialogue is always ham fisted, always delivered like the actors KNOW it's shitty (because they'de have to be retards not to). There's no actual charm or underlying THEME'S to the movies to save them like Star Wars- because less face it, that movie had a silly plot and silly dialogue but a combination of ancient theme's, an imaginative world and an incredibly talented crew and actors created the legacy that Lucas is dick slapping to this day- turning them into nothing more then B Movies. They're not even CHUCKLEworthy B Movies like 8 Legged Freaks or Slither. They're devoid of any soul, it's like the mans purposefully trying to destroy the source material.
He doesn't respect them, at all. He just see's popcorn flicks, or something he can do for shits and giggles. The guys just F**king around and seeing what he can do. You know who else does that?
