I just thought that I'd ask, have you ever stolen something from someone in your family, be it parents or siblings, money or games?

"I just need 10 bucks to buy that thing, and I won't get money for a while, but theres 10 right there, and no one will notice if it goes missing" What would you do? That money either belongs to your parent or elder brother, and you have no other means of getting the money for 2 weeks.
That kind of situations. Thoughts?

Also, everyone knows stealing is wrong, so don't let it develop into that kind of discussion, and please don't try to act like the "good guy", otherwise, what would you do?

If you steal from your family you're just a bastard.
Who gave birth to you? Your parents.
Who fed you? Your parents.

(the following is NOT true, keep that in mind)

IF YOU STEAL FROM YOUR PARENTS YOU WILL END UP AS A HEROIN ADDICT IN A TRASH BIN IN SOME RED LIGHT DISTRICT.

but then again, that's just my (extreme) opinion.

I've taken money from my parents wallets when I knew they wouldn't notice. Also I borrow what I want when I need something like penknife, comb, jeans and I forget to give them back

I stole 1000's of dollars over a period of 4-5 years from my parents to buy games, booze, and marijuana. I had dropped out of high school, and was unemployed.

I am now graduated, and on salary making 6 digits a year, totally clean and sober. I have subsequently paid back my parents the money I stole from them.

No trash bin here.

Alright, fair enough, you were joking. However, I wasn't "lucky". I grew the eff up and started acting like a productive adult. That takes effort.

Besides the obvious candy stealing when I was 8, no.
My brother 'borrowed' 10 euros though... never got it back...

My sister once nicked ten quid off me. I've not only never seen it again, but she also flatly denies it with a smug 'yes I did it, but you can't prove anything' tone.
It really pisses me off, 'cause she'll no doubt do it again ¬_¬

No. I'm a semi-Police officer. I can't go around stealing things.

Except for Organs. I "Borrow" those from citizens.

Erm, I found ten pence lying around the house once when I was really young and took it. I don't know who it belonged to. Am I going to hell now?

I guess i've borrowed from my parents and purpously forgotten to pay them back, because they're really old and never remember stuff. And I have taken a couple of 50's from my mothers wallet I think.(I live in denmark, 50kr is like 10 dollars)
I'd never borrow anything from my parents without asking though, but that's just because my cousin once borrowed a sweater without asking her mother and the bloody git threw it away, I really thought she was an ass for that.

nothing more than trivialities. TBH, what they have isn't really what I want.

I grew up with 2 older brothers who didn't like to share. I admit a few times I had to make sure they shared some things, but nothing drastic

When i was younger i had what could only be described as a life destroying cocaine habit. I was a bastard and took a good few hundred pounds out of their bank account with their cash card. I was a greedy and ungrateful bastard* and i am ashamed that i did it.

You will be pleased to hear that since then, although i have done nothing spectacular with my life, i have paid them back. Suffice it to say that when they found out the shit did most definately hit the fan. Remember kids, drugs are bad!

*Other things that could be used to describe me are numerous but in order to keep the air less blue i decided to be nice to myself.
