I live in a Uni dorm, and it's infuriating it is being forced to other people's music constantly from every room on the floor. It wouldn't bother me because I'd do the same thing.

Sounds like something I could have done. Sometimes I just need to shut up... or be a little more silent., but sometimes when you hear someone say something incredibly stupid, its really hard not to say anything
Yup, I have that problem too. I have way too many of those stories. I should be a hermit for the betterment of humanity.

may i ask why this was made? just seems kind of random. still no i wouldn't be bothered.
If you read the thread, all questions are answered.
For anyone who may be too lazy to browse, the short story is there is someone of the female gender in his workplace that leaves her radio on when she departs from the premises. And has issues with the OP turning it down so it does not bother him.

Edit: Yes I had to say of the female gender...I got bored, and was too lazy to type out a full description of a female human being.

Why the hell would you leave your radio on if you were going to be gone for an hour or more?

that bothers me. Turning it off doesn't.

Ok, so you work in the same room as a few people. You have to leave for an hour or more, but you left your radio on. So while you are gone, one of your co workers turned it down because they didn't want to barely hear it from their desk. Would that bother you?
No, It was my fault for leaving the radio on. If they were to try and turn it down while im listening to it, I would be upset, but if im not there, why should I care?

Also, Captcha: rexas mind. (including the period)

I wouldn't mind in the slightest....probably wouldn't even notice.
Seriously, should I be concerned about their finger grease or something? Why would it bother me?

In fact, I would thank them to turn it off completely.

I can't help but notice what an odd question this is....was there an incident with a radio in your office recently OP?

No one said anything about changing the channel. That is a dick move, this is about turning it off.

I should totally call someone collect just to mess with them :p I tend to use ventrillo now though skype would be better as it supports video.

I was saying skype the way one would refer to any tissue as a kleenax. I use facetime for my video chatting needs.

Nah, if I left it on, it was by accident. I turn that stuff off if I leave, normally.

He's being reasonable, she's the one with the issue. Logic dictates she doesn't need her radio on when she isn't present. If it is disrupting his work he should be able to turn it down.

I'm guessing jumjalalabash is reading the tread at face value, and thinking I'm the one that flipped out, which is the risk of asking a question like this. I'm fine with it.

Probably, but I have nothing better to do than sit here and point out things and such. I really have nothing that requires my attention at work lol.
