I'm all for the this transhumanism nonsense, but i don't envy the guys who get brain implants first, i imagine upgrading would be troublesome, and some of that damage is likely to be permanent.

Limbs and everything I'll be first on the chopping block though, can aways just rip the buggers out, and pracice makes perfect.

I think you should add "Biomodificated".

Like in deus ex. Kind of like a cyborg, but still biological.

Hmmm, I wouldn't mind cybernetic replacements, but I'd prefer to be able to keep my meatbags preserved for easy replacement. And have a Termintor-esque skin covering for all of it.

OR nanite modification for my body.

Neural implants are always a definate yes.

I'd want to be one of the Stalkers from the Hungry City Chronicles. Glowing eyes and finger-glaives. And speaking in caps-lock. Trust me, it makes sense.

Kind of like the Master Chief?

I AM a cybernetic automaton.
Does this mean that you can't properly enjoy nutella or magic glitter?
Of course not. I am, after all, artificial. My emotions and receptors aren't nearly as evolved as human are, but I do have a stronger beating arm.

I would, when it's out the experimental phase and common practice. I would go for brain implants as last, I wouldn't mind better legs. Humans legs are meeh, I'd replace them in a heartbeat.

I'd be okay with some upgrades, i.e. a cybernetic eye or enhanced memory...
Some inner organs, too, like an extra heart or detoxifying liver.
But no internet access or anything else that'd connect me to a network. Networks are always dangerous access points for hackers and the like...
I also wouldn't want to be obviously a cyborg (from the outside), so no stuff like entire limbs.
Yeah, pretty much what Skeleon just said.

Of course this all depends if the technology turns out similar to Ghost in the Shell or not.

If it did I would be more willing to become a more complete cyborg.
If not, well then it would have to be smaller alterations.

I would keep my brain so I would be incontrol and no implants I would have a chain saw and a nuke launcher. And a big giant suit that can go invisable if possible fly if possible and display a screen that let me play any game and watch anything and control it with my mind. and my brain would be in a inpenetrable helmet in water and a force field if possible. And no internet.

Providing I am still myself I could do with a new brain... Preferably one that can produce Dopamine properly. Also Robotic body parts are okay ish if its covered by artificial skin, in which case just the arms everything lower natural for me.

As long as the replaced parts are proved to function and improve people with a minimal amount of maintenance and errors, I'd get all of em. A direct input to your game system from your mind would certainly make your response times better, not that I'd be playing games much in between jumping around buildings and running across cities and such with my artificial limbs.

Just remember that the police and military would have better gear than civilians, there'd still be laws, and you can still "die."

If whatever I have won't fulfil my requirements any more I might replace some limbs and such, but they should stay away from my brain.

If it's not required to live the life I want, I'll stay completely organic.
