Poll: Would you buy Hugh Hefner mansion if you were a billionare?

So when I saw the news today, I began to wonder, if I was super rich, would I buy his mansion at the cost of having him as my roommate?

I'm now apply the same question to you. Let says you become a billionaire after reading this thread (that way you won't blow your whole load on the mansion alone if you were a mere millionnaire), would you buy his mansion and having him as a roommate? (I know not everyone would buy it for obvious reason.)

It's known to hold ALOT of parties with scantily clad women involed (I know not everyone are into parties)

I'm pretty much only scatching the surface on the mansion.

As for my answered, yes I admit I would purchased the mansion out of perversion HOWEVER I won't be a total pig about it! Even if I keep my lust in check, it would still be an awesome mansion to have (check out the animal, watching film in the threater etc). The party alone would be awesome even if I end up being the awkward guy in the party. In saying so however, I probably won't lived there full time if I was super rich and all.

Yes. No doubt about it. Especially if i don't have to pay toattend these parties or pay for anything party related. Holy hell yes. Say what you want about hugh, but her has done a lot for womens rights, and nobody knows how to throw a party like that guy. Hell nobody probably had had as much fun during their life that mr heftner.

TBH, if I was a billionaire then I'd have my own shit sorted out, I know the sort of parties I like and while Mr.Hefner's might be entertaining for something different once in a while I don't think it'd be worth it.

Well, the powerball lottery is up to 1.5 billion dollars right now, so it is feasible.

That said, no i wouldnt. I dont have any real desire to own an expensive home, if I did win the lottery it would probably send me into a panicked state as I become concerned with both financial and personal security, niether issue i have any real knowledge in which will further increase my panic.

This is kind of a paradox. Spending $200 million of the Playboy Mansion would be an extremely frivolous and irresponsible purchase. People who are good with money typically dont do such things, and people who are bad with money tend not to have any.

So the paradox is that if you are the kind of person that would blow $200 million on a silly whim, you are probably the kind of person who would never have that much money to begin with.

I'd buy an island with my insane money and put a modest house on it. I don't need a mansion and as long as the weather isn't nuts, I'd like being a recluse.

I'd probably maintain a penthouse in the city I do my business in though, probably less modest.

The place is filthy (As several paid live-in sex workers have testified to, along with a bacterial outbreak that occurred in 2011), I'd be contractually obligated to house an old man (Who's death would herald a dramatic drop in the mansions worth), I'm uninterested in high octane sex parties and booze, and seriously, do you know what kind of mega-complex someone could build with 200 million dollars?

I could build a mansion of equal size, with a freaking tank facility, including a maintenance bay, a firing range, and a obstacle course. And a pool. And a sex party faculty. We could have blackjack too.

Nah, with that sort of money I could build my own luxury mansion in my own country, or somewhere warm in the tropics, and staff it with slaves servants more to my taste, all without having share it with some old guy. Seems like a better deal, I'm not into big parties anyway.

Probably, since you could possibly sell it for even more than $200,000,000 once he dies. I'm not sure if having him still live in the mansion would drive the price up or down, but I presume down, so once he's out of the way you could probably make a net profit.

Hell no. If I had enough money, I would buy a decommissioned missile silo and turn it into my subterranean dream-hole. I would probably have to get used to using a land-line instead of a cell-phone from then on but it's a small price to pay for having one of the most bitchin' types of novelty houses around.

No, there's no way I'd want a house that huge and opulent.

I'd buy other stuff before buying a huge house that I could get lost in. I'd definitely make and build my own studio and maybe have a fancy pool table if it tickles my fancy.
