Just a simple question but if Valve decided to make a L4D3 would you bother to buy it?

I personally love both games, but sadly I have lost interest in the Left 4 Dead series. I don't think id be in any hurry for a third game.

No way. I really don't like the first two, so there's no way I'd be buying a third. Unless it wasn't as simplistic as the other ones. The games are just way too shallow, and thus boring, for me.

I don't know.

I haven't even played Left 4 Dead 2 yet! I'll probably be renting it soon.

If Valve does make Left 4 Dead 3, I'd at least rent it.

I think i would only buy it on release date if it had some major upgrades to it, graphically and mechanicially.
Other than that i woul dprobally buy it if its really really cheap (liek i did with L4D2)

Oh I would buy it for sure. It's one of the few games that most of my friends play as well, so I'd have plenty of people to play with.

FUCK TO THE NO.

There better be tons of free content to L4D2 before that. Cuz they assfucked L4D1 and lied through their teeth the wretched fucks.

Sure. I think that the first two games are the second and third best things Valve have done so far.

Both excellent game, both with little story, but a rich and interesting world that makes you actively seek out every opportunity to find out more about it, both very inventive, both loads of fun with friends.

Yes, I would buy the third one. Even if it came out today.

I came back to it last night after not playing it for a year. The appeal has just died on me. Sad really.

Didn't really like 1, didn't bother with 2, so I seriously doubt I'd buy 3

Yes, of course I would! It is hard to find entertaining zombie shooters these days, and Left For Dead has always provided fast-paced zombie shooting fun! I could play those games for hours!

DEFINITELY. I enjoy L4D2 immensely, and would jump at the opportunity to give the company that made it more money. Something about getting 4 friends together for a round of Versus is just ... magical. Even if we do lose every time. Which we do. Because we suck. And other people don't.

I loved L4D I was addicted to it. All the characters were likable, the special infected are great and the level design along with the music was awesome.

I hated L4D2. The characters were boring as were the levels and the new special infected, and the music just sounded awful, the only thing I liked about it was the improved graphics (mainly the way the zombies fell apart) and some of the melee weapons, I also disliked how impossible it was to win on online versus, me and my team would always win on L4D, we were awesome, we only ever lost to teams who like us had been playing together for so long that they could play without mics, but on L4D2 we got beat all the time by randoms, I hear it was designed so that the humans barely make it, but that just took the fun out for me.

I would buy L4D3 if it was really cheap and I had heard good reviews along with positive word of mouth from other gamers.

Meh, the game wears thin with me sometimes too, but I always come back to it. How many hours have you played? might be that you've played a lot more than me, I have 310 hours between the two.

I never really have bought any games on release date (I think the last one was Modern Warfare 2, because I had some high expectations) anyway, so I'd probably get it when it's on offer on Steam.

No, I loved no mercy, but L4D2 didn't really have any good campaigns.
