Who's "we", white man? :p
Or woman, considering I'm a woman.
Old punchlines converted into sayings don't work if you let that sort of thing sway you.

Sorry if I'm generalising and using Western 'norms' at the exclusion of other cultures, but anyway... stop sidestepping my point, fool ; )
It's not sidestepping, it's banter!

The only ones that come to mind that don't make use of farmed animals' milk are hunter-gatherer tribes such as those in the rainforest. They are few and far between these days - correct me if I'm wrong. And I think I can be excused for assuming that those particular people will not be taking part in this poll. Hence 'we'.
I was talking on a personal level. I drink cow milk because it's the cheapest, most available milk. I wouldn't be phased at human milk or wombat milk or pig milk. Wait, I'd be phased at pig milk because I've had it before and it's fucking awful. It's worse than either soy 'milk' or UHT milk.

Then we agree. I would happily drink all those kinds of milk also, and I find it strange that other people wouldn't despite drinking cows'. That was my point ; )

I don't really drink milk at all, but I eat a hell of a lot of yoghurt. Oh, and I'm something of a cheese lover.

It's because we have a natural disposition to the milk of our mothers and species as we grow. all animals have the same thing, only difference is that we have the power to milk(sorry) the benefits of milk that has no natural stigma surrounding it.

Besides, imagine if we had people milking farms, it's Japan's dream come true almost.
People are misunderstanding me. I don't mean it's wrong, I simply find it odd that most people would be disgusted at the idea of drinking humans' milk, despite the fact that it's made for humans and we don't mind drinking the milk of another species.

A strange cultural quirk, if you will. Our species has so fucking many of them. Can you imagine what other animals would think of our obsession with making our udders larger by pumping silicone into them? And we in the West think of that stuff as kind of normal. It is very weird.

Edit: Apologies for the Double Post.

I refuse to waste anymore of my life on this topic...good day to you all.
Any reason why? I mean, not that I'm terribly eager to spend more time conversing with you, but the subject is a perfectly sensible one. Perhaps you are having trouble understanding what I am saying...? I cannot think of any other reason for the dismissiveness of your post - I was not insulting or derogatory towards or about you in any way.

There is no way I'd let that crap enter my system.
Fuck you whaaaaales!
I was hoping you'd see this thread :)

And surely gathering said milk would be an undertaking of epic proportions in itself?

I got here early this time!
I'm proud of myself for that. Nobody had to catch me up on things!

And I think someone posted a link to a news article earlier that said milking them was commercially possible.
The damn fools. Trusting whales.

Will it cause me to gain 10 pounds per hour? How much milk does it take to gain 10 pounds in one hour? How much am I supposed to drink? If it doesn't significantly affect my weight or my health, then sure.

If it's from the female sure, male whale milk doesn't seem like a good idea...

but if that would make me grow, I won't be able to shred bass as much as I can now.

10 pounds per hour cannot possibly be true, I call bullshit, what's the logic behind that? Since it came from a big creature it makes a cow grow at a rate that it scientifically impossible? I'm not even sure Whales produce milk.

I thought for sure you misspelled Whole Milk
of course they produce milk dummy! its one of the qualities that makes them mammals!
Do all mammals make milk? I thought that was a very common quality among them, but I didn't know it was an absolute requirement
oh yeah, absolutely every mammal has hair or fur, gives birth to live young and produces milk. as far as i know the only exceptions to these rules are the duck billed platapus and that thing that knuckles from sonic is (can never remember the name) but they both lay eggs, weeeird
