Just eating raw flesh from the corpse is pretty disgusting, as it would be eating from a cow. If you cook it properly it probably wouldn't taste any different from other meat. Though, if you have the luxury of cooking it, you probably don't "have" to eat it...

If I'm offered some meat, I'd only eat it if I was sure it came from free range humans!

I wouldn't have any problems with it. I sorta against killing someone for the sole purpose of eating them, but if it were like a draw straw thing and they came up with the short one... I'd do it. I mean if food is scarce and there is a dead body, why let it go to waste? Plus eating human muscle gives your the body the resources the make (surprise, surprise) muscle.

i dont see the big deal with cannibalism. it's just meat right? i mean, i wouldnt go kill someone to eat them, but if they're willing to offer their deceased body for food, i guess i could try some. there doesnt seem to be any sort of moral hindrance that i can see.

Maybe in a extreme survival situation... Like you know, when your parents haven't been shopping yet and your still waiting at home for the food, there's nothing in the fridge but you need a snack to last your while they get home from the local supermarket. Yeah, then I'd eat human flesh. You know, only in the extreme situations.
