Poll: Would you ever have children?

I'm guessing the majority are going to say they someday want children, but if you do, why, or if you don't then why also? Got a school debate on the topic tomorrow and looking for some fresh perspective.

Probably not. I'm not opposed to having kids, I'm just thinking the likelihood of me ever even getting a girlfriend are so low I'd be depressing myself by thinking about kids. And besides, my sex drive is basically zero, so even if I wasn't ugly I doubt I'd ever have them.

At current I haven't got much interest in having them. Maybe sometime in the future, if I find the right person... But I'm quite content to have my life as my own for the moment.

i just dont really fancy the baby stage. Plus giving a kid a new home seems like a nicer thing to do.

I would love to start a family. Of course, I have to find a job that isn't working in retail, find a place to live, and, most important, find a girl that wants to marry me before I can even start thinking about having kids. Still, it is a goal I have.

Myself, sure, I've had great fun helping take care of my sister Rosie for almost eight years and I wouldn't trade her for anything, so I'd love to have a step up from that: my own children. Prefer a daughter personally, but having one of each gender would be perfect =D

Yes, I am planning to have children. In the near future, actually. I would have started sooner, but health insurance is expensive.

Why? Because my genetic code is too valuable and must be sent forward so that future generations may bask in my genetic perfection.
