I already got one and I want more. I'll only get them, though, if something happens to my life, or it looks good enough that I'll like it in twenty years. For example, the one I have now is for my Dad, who died a few years back, and it reminds me of all the good times.

Up until about a year ago it would have been a definite no, but then I met a lady who worked at Gamestop with chain tattoos on her wrists like the ones on Jack from Bioshock, and I though that was pretty badass. So if I ever did get a tattoo, it would be that.

I got my first one just over a week ago! I have it on my shoulder so chances are when I'm old and wrinkly no one will see it, if they do then they would have a million times before! I've never seen Tattoos as something that takes away sophistication from someone. Each to their own I guess, but think that the bad press they have is a little uncalled for.
They're very addictive!

Well, I have one these days. I have a check-pattern around my left shin. I wouldn't want anything massive really, or something stupid like tribal patterns or Chinese lettering. I'm tempted to get the coiled snake from the cover of Metallica's Black album somewhere on my body, but it wouldn't be very large.

Way ahead of you, already got four of them. Don't have any regrets about them, really glad I have them
What's you gots?

And yeah, I'm getting one for my 18th (in 4 years time D:) but I plan to get a 8bit heart with x 1 net to it on my left inner forearm.
I've always liked tribal tattoos, but I wanted them to be somewhat personal, so I chose ones from the tattoo artist's book then had them modified so that they were being done just for me :)

Got one on each upper arm, one on my right hip and one going from my left hip up to my ribs. Once I've got enough money and decided on designs, I want one on my right ribs, one on the inside of my left arm, and one on my back. I also want the one on my right arm extending, since it was my first one and now seems quite small

I like the idea of one on my forearm, cos a couple of my friends have one there and it looks good, but I'd worry about the fact that it can only be covered up by wearing long sleeves. As it stands, I can wear a t-shirt and none of my tattoos are visible

I do believe i want a tattoo, though i'd like to tighten up my body a bit more so it actually looks good.
On other people, i think Tattoos can be rather hot on dudes and chicks, like well placed piercings.

I was in a restroom once, and someone had made an alteration to the graffiti.

Someone had scratched "Fuck you, Fuck the World, Fuck it all." into the wall, and someone else had come along and scratched out each "Fuck" and replaced it with "Love" written just above the scratched out curse. I always thought that would make a good tattoo.

Plans for half sleeves on both arms, chest piece, and a few on my legs.

Safe to say I like them.

No, a tattoo is a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling.
Not necessarily. I just got an ankh on my right arm. I got "The Key of Life" because a few years back, I used to be the person that all my friends went to if they were having dark thoughts or thinking of ending their life. They tell me today that I helped a lot to save them. So I wear my tattoo to remember the good I've done in this world.

It's a personal choice, and a tough one. It took me 4 years to debate getting a tattoo, but you can always get a permanent reminder of a permanent past
