Pretty much that. I'm too much of a sucker for justice and the greater good to do anything less.

No.

I find myself incapable of killing anyone, much less my best friend. So my survival is out of the question.

Yeah probably.

I don't have a best friend.

And even if I did, I'd still do it. I'm a coward, and 80% of you people who claim that they wouldn't kill their friend are just "saying" that. I can promise that if you were in the situation, you'd seriously contemplate it.

Half the people here that say they would wouldn't.....

As for me, no. I don't have the right to kill an innocent just so I may live.

I've never wanted to die normally. I've always wanted my death to mean something.

This would fit that bill well.

I would die.

I'm constantly telling myself that I am not worth more than another human being, especially my friends. I would probably be unable to live with the guilt.

Even though I'm as afraid of death as someone can get, I love my best friend (in a platonic way). I could never look her in the eye and kill her.

Moral values aside, depends on the situation. Let's say it's just plain killing your friend, wouldn't that mean that you would be considered a murderer for doing so? Hence the pointlessness of killing your friend, your life is practically useless unless you're willing to live out the rest of your life as a murderer. Considering the person is that big of a dick to make you choose, I doubt he wouldn't let you go or let you go free without any kind of information slipping to the authorities. Regardless of the situation, I will make it my objective to kill that person, should I kill my friend and get revenge.

As soon as I read this I thought to myself, 'Yep, easily'.
Never had a best friend, and I never will. Not only because of this enlightening post, but because I don't believe in honest friendship. It's a give-and-take kind of world, and if you don't have a lot to give you won't receive a lot of love or respect.

My best friend of 20 years is a bit of a selfish dick and doesn't really treat me with respect... so yeah probably.

No, my "best friend" is my wife (the mother of my child) and she's a better parent than I am. So, yeah. Also, she deserves to live more than I do.

Edit: If my "best friend" was anybody else...well, sorry but, odds are I'm going to be the one walking away.

Fuck no! I'd kill myself to save my best friend.

And anyone who would kill their best friend to save themselves doesn't deserve to have any friends.

No, I always imagined myself going out of this life by helping somebody else survive...

Well, I could say anything, but when it comes down to the clamps and a split-second decision...I have no clue. I really, honestly, don't. That is a very difficult question to answer!
