I get why people want to explore space, I want to do it too.

But you have to understand, if everybody went of to space, then logically there would be hardly anybody left on Earth. We can start society over from scratch, everyone would have more of everything due to our decreased populace and democracy becomes more effective if less people are in it.

The decision would haunt me for the rest for my life...but I'd stay on Earth.

If I had a TARDIS, a galactic map and a hot/smart/both companion (No Catherine Tate! Bad companion!), then yeah, sure. Saving the universe would be great fun!

If I had a NASA Space Shuttle and a vague idea where other planets were? Nooooo...

I'd GTFO here. I mean, it's nice and all, but exploring the universe is something that'd never be possible just staying on Earth. Unless we made Earth a space ship. Which would be badass.

I'd leave, as long as I could live a similar lifestyle to what I currently do aboard the vessel.

Give me a super-duper space exploring device, preferably with a time machine (yes I'm screaming TARDIS here...), and I'm certainly going for the Universe option. Hell, I don't even need the time machine, just something that'll get me somewhere interesting within my lifespan. We don't need to factor in current Earth technology do we? Cos if so I'm staying. I'm only going if I get a TARDIS. And a nice coat. *sulks in the corner*

Depends. Staying here sounds fine, but if my travel defies logic (e.g. immortality, to allow for size of universe) then it might be worth it.
