If it was ala 'ghost in the shell', sure. memory enhancements, built in night and heat vision and naturally no need for glasses. If I break my arm I just get a replacement and can switch off the pain in the meantime. Only my brain will grow old, but my body only needs some maintanance and will never fail on my like the orgininal will some day.
male, female or inbetween, black or white or what ever else you like doesnt matter anymore. Beauty would only be a matter of personal taste, not of genetics or lifestyle.
So I am very pro transhumanism.

Would I lop off an arm or leg? Nope. I like those. If I was in a fight and left broken? Nope, however I would settle for one of these:

Yeah...

Actually instead of replacing limbs, I would just get hardpoints installed that I could attach other shit to. Flexibility, functionality, and best of all I get to keep my good old squishy arms.

I most likely would because the majority of the human body is weak to begin with and me having to wear glasses doesn't help me much at all so I'd rather have augmented eyes, augmented lungs for increased breathing rates and probably the stomach and other systems so I don't really feel the need to eat.

i mean, who wouldn't want to have 100 percent perfect memory, i know i would want 100 percent perfect memory.
I definitely wouldn't want 100% perfect memory. As it is, there are things I wish I could unsee.
that's why i can just plug my head into the wall and delete the memory. good as new!

Hell yeah ! where do I sign? , theres a catch of course, I would let myself be aumented o enhaced what ever but you got to keep at least 51% human 49% enhaced, i think it is important to be more human than eh cyborgish or whatever it's called.

Of course! The first thing I would have installed have got to be retractable sunglasses into my skull. Because how else will I remember to bring my sunglasses for midnight strolls?

I'd give them time to work out the bugs and then I'm getting me some of that shit.

"let" is too weak a term to appropriately define my disposition on the subject. i would go way past cyborg and possibly past android if it were possible. the less human i am the better.

Only if it was for an existing condition or an amputation I had in the past. I wouldn't cut off parts of my body to replace them with augments. That was a part that bothered me in Deus Ex: HR when you figured out that Serif has Adam's right arm and both legs cut off for no real reason.

I've already got glasses, don't I? I wouldn't mind a few adjustments and buffs, really. I wouldn't be too keen on actually buying them, though.
Glasses don't count; I'm only counting active augmentation of body parts, so things that you wear, like exo-skeletons and glasses, doesn't count.

Yes. Hell yes.

I want internal Wifi.

My brain will merge with the machine, and I will become a goddess. And all of you will love me and despair.

I was thinking more people would veto just straight up doing the augmentation, but would be willing to have it done if necessary, which is how I would be. But, it appears more people would just jump on the bandwagon of augmentations without a care in the world. And do you know what I would say to all these...people? Good, I can't blame you, I'm just a chicken that would miss my human body parts too much, and even if I wouldn't fully notice, I'd still be slightly scared of the idea of doing it simply for shits and giggles, but hey, that's just me.

And then do you pass the test? Afterwards, will you diminish and go into the west?

Congradulations! You win an internet cookie for actually noting the source of that joke. No one has ever actually made an in-universe joke as a reply before. Kudos.

And no. Because, if I was her, I'd have taken the ring and ruled the damn world. Stupid noble elf.

I'd say take the ring AND go west. They'd never expect rings to be a threat there(unless that is something in later tolkien books that I have yet to read).

I would consider some sort of subtle upgrade to my senses that wouldn't render them completely useless if there was a malfunction, but only after augmentations had gone through a few iterations and the kinks had been worked out. Bionic appendages would be cool and all, but I don't need additional strength in my daily life, and those would be really visible, which comes with a host of problems. I would only even think about getting a brain improvement if there was near 100% assurance that I couldn't be remotely controlled afterwards, or killed by an electromagnetic disturbance.
