Aww... everyone needs to experience random hugs, so just this once I'll brave hearing about scary uncles or guns and hot women. *hugs*

for the record that was the first time I used "guns and "chicks" in the same sentence,

I'd make sure my purse was out of reach and give them a big squeeze. As long as they aren't creepy, and don't smell.
I will give you all hugs too doesn't matter if your fat, bigger guys give awesome hugs, all you people discriminating against the bigger people are missing out.

Yes, I do *sniff*.

Just no naked homeless people. Clothing is advisable.

I might transfer to the bro-hug (no lower body contact, lean in with one shoulder, gentle slap on the back with the other hand) if its another man. But I couldn't turn down a hug from anyone to be honest.

Hug it out, *****.

I am all for hugging a random person to brighten their day. I have had terribly shitty days before and have had random people give me hugs or a compliment and everything was suddenly better (until I realized that they thought I was someone else >.>). I guess it's knowing that they aren't obligated to help you whereas your friends (though more comforting) are sort of are.

I'd hug them. I don't carry around that much more or any credit cards, so it doesn't matter.

This is my opinion and my opinion only, but hugs are like platypuses* they don't fucking do anything and they still make people happy. If you are happy about something that can be so meaningless then your standards for happiness are low and your happiness is a cheap whore. Okay maybe that's too much but a fucking hug from some girl who feels sorry foe me (thus implying that I am inferior) than me isn't going to cheer me up. Though I'm not usually down in the dumps anyways unless my life is going really bad.

*Platypussies? Platipusi?

Well if it was that guy from scrubs who sniffs his shoulder every time someone accidentally rubs against him I would, or someone crying. I guess it would depend what their hygiene was like and what age they were. It would be awkward to hug a two year old I don't know.

I dunno it feels weird to say but randomly hugging someone just kinda makes my day.
something about the embrace of another human being no matter how insignificant makes it nice.
You said it. Now gimmie a hug! ^_^

Hell yes i'd take the hug. In fact, i'd then do a "pay a forward" sort of deal and give someone else a hug in hopes they'd find someone to give and hug, and so on and so forth. The world needs more people giving hugs and showing that humans aren't just soulless monsters with god complex's and assault rifles.

I can't believe it took this long for someone to post this.

I would certainly accept the hug, then immediately check my wallet
