Only a person with no respect for themselves would do the many things that are considered pornography while filmed to be watched by the entire world for the sake of money.

What about someone who was proud of their body and open with their sexuality? The money is fairly good, the work is pleasurable, though not intimate and you are never forced into working in a situation that you find uncomfortable.
I have read a few interviews by the pornstar Tyler Knight and throughout these he stated that the work he does is on his terms. He also stated that the job can drain the pleasure of sex out of regular non-work sex, it does not infringe on the intimacy that is involved in a real relationship.

That may be true, but Tyler Knight is a guy, and I've heard the opposite stories from women in the porn industry. For women, it's a much different experience because it's not as comfortable - they have to accept newer, more disgusting things like anal sex, double penetration, and crazy stuff like that. If they don't, then they find themselves out of a job and broke! If a woman won't agree to do anal sex, then the producer will find somebody else and she's out of job. Therefore, most women pornstars do more and more uncomfortable disgusting things throughout their career to get more money, fame, and job security. For men, sex is easy and fun, but for women, sex is naturally more intimate and comes with more risks. If they're not turned on, then they can rip their vaginas, or get some diseases and scars down there.

Yes, the profession of my wife has nothing to do with our marriage or my love/affection for her. If I really lke/love her, then I would marry even a professional assassin, or, God beware, a lawyer. Pornstars are no exception there.

Well i abhore marriage as an institution, so no, but would I date one? Sure, if I love her, its just a job, I mean it is ok to get off on them but intimately interacting with them on a human basis is a no-go? Way to objectify women. And I don´t buy the whole "they hate their jobs" or "they have no self-respect". While it certainly is true for some pornstars, I am sure most like what they do and who am I to judge them for it by saying they have no self-respect. If I did not love them then I would not be in a relationship with them anyway and therefore would not go near them considering their profession.

I think I'd just end up feeling totally inferior to be honest.

I mean, when a person's a pornstar, you can bet that they've experienced...pretty much everything. I'd imagine sex with little old me would just feel like an obligation.

But onto non-sex matters, I suppose I could, if I really loved her, but it wouldn't be the type of person I'd aim for.

Love makes sex much better even if its of lower physical quality. If she loved you she would rather be with you then all the gifted guys from the movies.

And mind you, Viagra is a must have for all male pornstars these days. Not just because many can't naturally have the performance they show in the movies, but also because it reduces the takes to get each scene by loads and decreases the cost of the entire movie a lot. So don't feel bad for it if apparently you can't perform as well as them.

I've got no problem with the sanctity of marriage thing, and like FargoDog said - sex with someone you love is different to sex for a job. They would probably be more experienced in bed, too.
