OH MY GOD YES THAT WOULD BE SO no jesus who the fuck would.
What kind of insecure child would you have to be to feel threatened by something so stupid, seriously.

While I have the lead against my gamer girlfriend at the moment, I'm sure there are games that she could school me at. And personally, I wouldn't mind if she could school me at EVERYTHING, as long as she's not a jerk about it.

I would love it as long as she didn't brag or gloat or slag me off. In which case she would quickly incur the wrath of my fingertips reaching for the off button!

I'm not particularly "good" at gaming, so I wouldn't mind.
If I considered gaming to be one of the few things I was really good at, it might be problematic. People need a sense of achievement in their lives, and living with someone that's better than you at "what you do" can cause some psychological issues.

Having a partner fullstop would be nice for starters!!

Ignoring that pretty major hurdle for a moment, no, I doubt I would mind. I'm under no delusion that I'm a master at games. Hell, it's part of the reason I avoid multiplayer like the Plague.

of course not! for one thing, it'd be the first time i've had a girlfriend where i had more to talk about with her than greek mythology, the wiccan religion and fictional undead, and metal (yes, i've had 3 girlfriends and i'm still only 17). and for another, it'd give me a challenge, my only friends who play games are board gamers (which is fun, but a lot of it comes down to luck), pc gamers (and i hate playing online because their connection is awful on behalf of them living in an area about as heavily populated as the moon and surrounded by trees), or people who play RPGs almost exclusively, there is a bit of variety in their library (and mine that we enjoy) except that he hold no reservations about using the cheapest moves and characters available on fighting games and would often prefer to watch online vids than play multiplayer, so it'd be nice to play against someone who would give me a reasonable challenge, without being embarrassingly better, and to have a girlfriend with whom i could have a conversation with about a genuine passion of mine without things getting awkward

Nope, besides the obvious advantages of having a gamer girlfriend I don't mind losing at all. I'd probably have even more fun than her, the winner:)

If it was at some games, I wouldn't mind. If it was every game, and they rubbed it in, I'd get sick of it quickly.

Nope, not at all. I really don't care about my skill at gaming relative to others, as long as I can hold my own to some extent.

As is often with me, being True Neutral on the nerd spectrum, I question what the context of the question means rather than directly answering the question itself.

"Better at gaming"? That's a pretty broad thing to do, does that mean she would have better reflexes, better eye-sight, more memory, etc.? That implies more of a superhuman nature than a slight gift at gaming. In that case, that'd be kind of awesome, actually.

*Question involves me having a girlfriend*
*Question also involves said girlfriend being a gamer*
Why the hell would I say "Yes"?

Partner? The use of this term confuses me.

But seriously... if I had a sexual partner who was better at every game in history than I, I wouldn't mind. She'd have to be on her toes to stay that way, though. I've never actually met such a woman.
