So I'm a young male, early 20's and long-ish hair has always been a part of my look, since I was 4 I've always had sorta long, light brown/blonde hair.

It's mostly a male thing but going naturally bald happens to a lot of people. What I'm asking is if and when you go bald, would you live with it or would you wear a wig?

Secondly if you have hair when you're old enough would you let it go grey or would you dye it?

Me personally, I would always need hair so I would get a wig if I went bald, if I went grey however I may just leave it, nothing wrong with being a silver fox as they say.

I'd like some reasoning behind it, even if it's just, I'm not bothered about having hair.

Also Captcha: hard and fast...is this saying anything?

I think I would rather have grey hair rather than no hair. It was always a sign of maturity for me. Hair also keeps my head warm.

I wouldn't mind if my hair went grey. I'd be a bit annoyed if I went bald but then I could use it as an excuse to start wearing hats.

I think Grey hair looks cool to be honest..I'm weird though.

I really don't want to go bald though, my hair is never very short.

I would prefer the gray option, if I did that and grew an awesome beard I would be the best grandfather EVER!

Right now, I'd say that I would but when I do start getting grey hairs, I'll probably quickly change my mind. I love my hair.

I'd hate to go bald, I'd look terrible without any hair. Grey on the other hand would be okay as long as it's the solid grey and not that salt and pepper or half grey or something like that.

I shave my head, so I don't mind not having hair, in fact I prefer the feeling of having a bare head.

I can't imagine that I'd be too bothered if the hair I didn't have (or stubble) was grey, but I can't be 100% certain until that day comes and I'm facing a mirror.

Well, I have mid-back length long hair so as you could probably imagine, it's a pretty big thing for me (spending years growing it, and all). That said, I'd rather have it for at least 10 more years. However, I also quite like the bald with long beard look. So it wouldn't really matter either way. Having long grey hair with a long beard would be pretty awesome in a barbarian-elder way though, so probably grey hair. :D

I chose "I want to go bald but if I was grey I'd be cool with it" because it was the closest answer to what I wanted. Really i dont mind either way (I dont WANT to go bald though). I put very little to no effort into my hair already, so its not much of a loss to have it go grey or disappear completly (though if i was to start balding then i would shave my head, its all or nothing)

I'm 22, turning 23 in June and I am already showing signs of balding unfortunately. I'd definitely prefer a head of grey hair over none at all. The best I can do is buy into overpriced products and hopefully slow down the process.

Hopefully I luck out and they figure out how to switch the balding gene on and off. I hear they are getting close to cracking it.

I voted as being okay with having grey hair, as long as I had hair... but I've had a shaved head for most of my life so it wouldn't actually be a massive difference to just be bald.

I'd wear hats more often I think, but... yeah.

Well I'm already starting to go grey, and I've always kept my hair short so when I really start to lose my hair, it's not going to bother me all that much.

To those people that insist on dye jobs and such I say accept it. No matter how hard you fight you cannot defeat time, all you really do in the long run is make yourself look like a fool.

Hah! I'm doing both! (I should note here that I'm quite a bit older than most of the Escapist population.) I started balding in my twenties, but it seems to have slowed or stopped, leaving me with a receding hairline and bald spot. I keep my hair buzzed pretty short, since it's really the only graceful way to handle what little hair I have left--no combovers here. In the last couple of years, I started going grey at the temples. Fortunately, my wife likes it.

I slowing working my way to being both. I have no problems with that either. However, I refuse to be bald in front and on top with hair around the edges. I don't like that look so should that happen, I'm shaving it off. At the moment, the hairline is receding slowing and the grey is mostly on my face and in my temples but another 10 years or so will probably bring massive changes to both.

I have no problem at all with white or gray hair, I actually consider it kinda stylish, creates a sense of wisdom. As for balding, I would very much like not to <.<. Depends on how expensive staving it off is.

Nah, if I'm going bald, I just won't care, or I'll shave my WHOLE head.

Also: I wouldn't dye my hair either. I don't mind having grey hair.
