Well said! no SMT fan would destroy the world if it didn't come with the opportunity to reincarnate it based on a vague kotowari. XDSolaire of Astora said:
No. The answer is no. I guess there's a possiblity it wouldn't do anything since you haven't specified that the button's label is consistent with what it would actually do. But I'm not doing something like that regardless. Seems horribly selfish.
What history? Who is going to record your deed? Where will said deed be recorded? And who will be left to read it?Catfood220 said:Yeah I would definitely push the button. Why? Because it would be too tempting, I want to go down in history as the man who destroyed the world. Plus I want to see what the end of the world looks like.
Plus if I don't, someone else will.

There has to be some aliens on some planet observing us and our progress as a species. And one afternoon on that planet, they will notice that there is a gap in our solar system. They will check the last of their video feed, see me press the button and sadly write in their file on Earth "some dick pressed the 'End of the World, do not press" button."FirstNameLastName said:Possibly, just because I would want to know what it does. If you saw a button labelled "End of the world button, do not push" would you seriously believe it would actually destroy the world? I would probably just assume it to be some kind of joke, or even a social experiment.
If I actually did know it would destroy the world? No. I'm not some edgy teenage misanthrope who wants to look cool, so I have no reason to pretend I would actually do it.

Answers: No one, no where, and no one.
...so there's no guarantee that it actually does that? It might just be a prank, where when you push the button a big red flag pops up and says "Gotcha! Gullible idiot!"thejboy88 said:if you ever came across a button (or lever or switch or whatever) labelled "end of the world button, do not push" would you push it?
