ive left relationships for stuff like cigarettes, cloth and views on homosexuality, and gaming isn't any different.

Honestly if I loved them enough, yer, I would. I would expect I would have to be pretty addicted if it got to that point though. I don´t think I´m that bad.

I'm pretty sure this has been ninja'd already but I don't have time to read all 5 bastard pages so I'm gonna go out and say that my partner would never ask me to do that because she's a gamer, too and it's how we spend most of our time together when we're not working and it usually leads to sex anyway. So edit this post to include THAT option you nit.

In the unlikley event that i had a partner.I'd simply game less.It would be selfish of her to deprive me of some ME time. And i dont game alot nowadays either.

I already game less when I'm in a relationship but I would never date the kind of controlling woman who would ask me to give up anything I love doing.

In my experience, Most women don't ask you to stop gaming unless it reaches addiction levels. You have to realize that they like having some "me time" too.

If you find a woman who really gets you, its a whole new experience. When I used to come home grumpy from a bad day at work my ex used to tell me to "go kill something" while she made dinner and it really helped out our relationship because I'd blow off that steam and come down all happy for dinner.

Watching second skin and I remembered, people that are hopelessly addicted are those with addictive personalities. yah it's made to be addictive but people in a healthy mental state don't put it before everything else
So you would have no issues giving up gaming for your partner? The strong words about Woolley might indicate how precious it is to you.

If my girlfriend asked me to stop gaming, I'd get a new girlfriend. Fourtunately, I don't have one, so it isn't a problem... *sob*

I'd be only willing to play video games less than I do, if only to spend more time with my fictional significant other. But quit? That's an idiotic request. If they asked me to quit entirely, that shows what kind of person they are, which is someone who I would ask to kindly GTFO my life.

...

My girlfriend and I just play stuff together. lol.

But yeah I've stopped playing as much, ie, instead of playing a game for 8 hours I play for 2 and then go hang out with her, etc.
