I'd of course prefer to be a sadist. With masochism, you have no sense of well-being. Not that I'd like to be either of course.

Is that self-diagnosed, believe me a few years ago all the kids on the escapist were thinking it was cool to have such conditions which people who do have it suffer for so they would be flaunting such descriptions like no-ones business before the mods cracked down on it (God bless 'em).

I think I'd prefer being with a masochist, a sadist would just try to hurt me and others around me and I'd only have to hide the scissors and knifes. Besides, they wouldn't even care if you...accidentally dropped something on their foot, they'd probably thank you for it!

A sadist: Someone who takes pleasure in inflicting pain on others (once again, not just physical pain).
