Poll: WoW and what's next?

Recently I've been thinking about where my adventures will take me after the slaying of the dread Lichking and by that I mean of course the next expansion. I've also asked others and the most common two I seem to hear are either The Emerald Dream, a lush paradise being corrupted by the Nightmare or The Maelstrom the swirling vortex of power and home to the maleovelent Naga.

But what I'm asking is what do you think? any other ideas or additions to the existing two?

I'm hoping Lich King will be the last, mostly because I REALLY want Warcraft 4 to be released. I doubt it though, and things like The Emerald Dream could be fun.

Personally I think if they REALLY shook things up that would be cool, by like seriously upsetting the practiced playstyle for the next one. WoW has become to lamely loot grindy in the last while.

Personally I think if they REALLY shook things up that would be cool, by like seriously upsetting the practiced playstyle for the next one. WoW has become to lamely loot grindy in the last while.

I always thought WC4 could work as an RTS version of WoW, basically giving us the ability to get decisive storylines and can be advanced in time with WoW so say we get The Emerald Dream for WoW, then We get an Emerald Dream pack(either bought or downloaded) for WC4

I personally would have much preferred WC4 instead of WOW. WOW is dull, repetitive, lifeless, repetitive, makes little sense, is repetitive...did I mention repetitive?

Than I shall vote for you, or not raise a weapon in resistance to your rise...whichever is more appropriate for how you accomplish said power.

I think they're gonna do the Emerald Dream next. When it comes to continuations from Warcraft 3's story arcs, the only other one they have would be the origin of the Naga, and they probably know that the people want to Emerald Dream waaaaay more than that. And plus, they already have three (four now with the expansion?) entrances to it. They wouldn't need to do much to the existing world like they had to with Lich King.

But yeah I was thinking the dream too, but I'm not so sure I even want to go after Ysera stuffed up who we are fighting against in the dragon war, I don't even want to know what else she got wrong.

Yeah but I think it would cause problems unless they made it an optional thing to choose between, old graphics for old computers and new for new

Draeneis will finally figure: "Wait we got Spaceships and Lasers! Why do we fight with sharp thin iron bars?"

Other than that Emerald Dream looks like a logical choice. Though I would've preferred something completely new for once, so I voted Maelstorm.

Actually pretty much the whole alliance is alot more technologically advanced then the horde they should be able to just roll over them but somehow steam,electricity,lasers and spaceships or on equal level with stone,wood and metal

I'm hoping lich king is the last expansion. Blizzard have nearly ran out of main characters for the players to unceremoniously murder. The emerald dream would be okay, i guess.

Actually only because I despise the idea so I'm going to add Argus/The Nether which I think should certainly be the last expansion

The Emeraled Dream seems the most likely, and I agree with Willwillwritehiswill we are running out of main characters to unceremoniously murder. They might have to make a Warcraft 4 just to make some new characters/storylines to use in WOW.
