Okay, I'll swap you heavenly sword and mag for crackdown and Mass effect. Not to make them exclusive, but to start making them cross platform.

Deal... he he he..

[small] little does he know both of them suck. [/small]
Hahahah.

So does Crackdown, don't worry.

Mass Effect on the other hand... Well, I'd give up my entire library of games so I could have the Mass Effect series if I had to.

I really don't care, everyone one my friends keeps talkin about how great the beta was and how they are gettin the game. Personaly I don't see the hype about it, and it get VERY annoying for me bacause everyone thinks I'm some sort of FPS playing god and they all think I would instantly be good at the game.

I'm pretty sure the 360 could handle MAG. I'm no expert but there's not actually THAT much difference between the PS3 and 360 as far as I can tell. I actually know little about MAG I will admit so I can't say for sure but it seems to me like whenever any game is exclusive to a particular console it's because the other consoles "can't handle it". I've heard this many times and I just don't buy it.

To be fair, i think the Xbox 360 should get a game like MAG, and in my mind, thats a game with a decent amount of people in it. There just aren't enough people in games in GoW2 and MW2 to make it feel really 'epic'.

Hopefully one will come along soon. Dust 514 (Planned size is 32vs32 I believe) looks alright with dedicated servers and all. But the micro-transaction system probably means quite a few people won't touch it with an extremely long stick, that and the fact that nothing really knew has emerged for it.

Still would be nice to have a game as large as MAG on the 360.

And this Xbox 360 mike bashing thing, you guys go on about it like its the worst thing in the world. I just mute them. Problem solved. If you can't be bothered to take like, 10 seconds to mute them how can you complain?

Frontlines : Fuel of War managed 50 people and i heard about a one-time game of 100 people and there was apparantly little lag becasue it was only done through county specific servers and stuff (not sure if its true)

Thats quite a big brush your using to tar everybody with. Could you be putting it down to make you feel better about not having it? Just a guess.
No, I have MAG for PS3, but nice try.

No, I'm implying that I don't want it... for Xbox 360, PS3 however, is a "yes". Like it or not, I find PS3 users to be more mature than 360 users.

love my ps3, it conveys who I am to the people who see it, through the things I have put on it.

Just need to get the thing online.

Oh, I have both consoles, I know what both Crackdown and Mass Effect are like, and just think, wouldn't it be awesome to have Mass Effect in PS3 graphics? just think...

P.S. I'm aware some people say there is no difference, but still PS3 can handle more, or Bioware likes the PS3 better which seem unlikely, because Dragon Age: Origins looked tons better on the PS3, don't believe me, look it up.

Does it even matter what your squad does in MAG? I haven't been reading too much about it, but if each squad is set to just kill other people then it kinda makes have the 256 player thing pointless on the 360. That many players, gotta be something to do other then destroy. I don't know if this type of game would have a base on 360 as well, does not seem like it to me.

Yes, it truly is a shame that the Xbox doesn't get a game of such proportions. I wonder why this isn't the case.... perhaps some sort of technical issue? Or perhaps Sony just got lucky with MAG? I'm sure we'll find out in the future!
Its a technical issue. The 360 at the moment if im correct cant handle that much data or it can't procces it at a acceptable speed. Like you'd be playing at 15fps.

The PS3's cell core can handle the infromation, and also the amount of time and money that went into the way the servers are made is alot if im correct.

The 360 might be able to pull it off, but not on as big of a scale.

I have both as well. Usually, games look better if they are exclusives because they only have to work with one set of hardware. Games designed for both usually don't look as good as exclusives, and only rarely look better on one console.

Also, Bayonetta looks a lot worse on PS3 I have heard.

I heard Dragon Age looks like crap on anything but PC anyway. Though, I wouldn't know for sure.

If there is a bias, it is usually toward w/e console got the port. So if they make it based on 360 hardware, it might get toned down for PS3 hardware just 'cos of different nuances between the consoles.

That said, PS3 exclusives can take advantage of a lot more than 360 exclusives can, yet any exclusive generally will look better than a game that goes on both.

True true, I hadn't heard the Bayonetta thing, I shall investigate.

Edit: looked at comparison, Bayonetta does look better on the 360, rather odd. We do know, just from hardware, that PS3 should be able to handle more.

Even though I believe that exclusives need to stay on the rightful consoles, I can tell you that you don't want a game like MAG. Sony has some excellent games in their library, but this isn't one of them.

The beta wasn't exactly fun to play. It all felt so monotonous and boring. No other way to put it. Biggest disappointment ever out of Sony's gaming library.

With that being said: give me God of War 3!
