There's been some rumor whether Microsoft is developing an Xbox handheld or not. And Nintendo is for certain developing a DSi.

Which of these would you like to buy?

meh, i dunno... i dont think an xbox handheld would be too good... generally its games on a hugely smaller scale with bad graphics.. which is fun on occasion ill give you that... but still.. meh.. time will tell..

I think that would be a pretty tough market to crack at the moment considering nintendo's saturation rate.

DSi, because it's highly unlikely they would make 2 competing with each other consoles. That would be stupid.

Xbox handheld, because I already have a bloody DS, I'm not wasting money on a DSi when they've added next to nothing =/

I currently have the DS Lite, but with all the additions this new DS has, I might be tempted to buy it after the price goes down a bit ,God knows how much they'll try to charge for it. But it won't stop the masses from paying ridiculous amounts for it, I'm sure. We can just look at the PS3 for that.

On another note you might want to add a neither option.

I have a DS and i'm really thinking about buying a DSi, mainly because of the built in faster browser, but i'm going to wait for in depth reviews about it before deciding, it needs to be as fast as a middle range computer for me to buy it, and i'm not sure if microsoft are any good at small scale so right now its neither.

DSi is out already, just not in the US till april 5th for 170$, and a Xbox handheld is sure as hell not coming any time soon. So by default the DSi....

I wouldn't buy either. Can't trust Microsoft to make a decent handheld system on their first attempt, and the DSi is probably one of the biggest wastes of money there is, if you've already got a DS.

Neither, the dsi took the backwards compatibility out of the ds and I'm sure an Xbox handheld will have a 13 inch screen and be the size of a small child.

Completely ignoring the psp eh?

I have a DS lite and if I wouldn't have one I would probably get one again. Unless the xbox-lite would be somehow groundbreakingly awesome that every single of my synapses is yelling BUY BUY BUY. But I don't think so.

The 'neither' option is missing.

Even if there would be an Xbox handheld (I know they will make one) I would still buy an DSi. Nintendo just has more (and better) third party support than any other handheld ever.

Too right. Why bother when literally everyone and their mums have a DS?

If the PSP taugt me anything, it's that dumbed down consoles don't make good handhelds. handhelds need to be designed for portable use, not a console with lower graphical power.
