In terms of console exclusives I'd actually want, Playstation takes the cake.
Microsoft dropped the ball in a big way.
Ryse? Easily one of the worst received games I've seen unveiled in recent years. It opens with the lead character quoting a play that was written a thousand years past the Roman empire. It features a D-Day style landing, directly ripped from Saving Private Ryan. With a ridiculous focus on violence. And it's combat looks utterly, utterly boring.
Killer Instinct? The original wasn't all that good honestly, and it's being designed by a team known for bland mediocrity. And, frankly, it wasn't all that impressive visually considering fighting games are known for their stellar visuals.
Dead Rising 3? Welcome to Generic-Ville - Population: This game. Where's the trade mark insanity that actually made those games fun? Why is this the very definition of "Next Gen Brown"? And, to quote the Joker: why so serious?
Forza Motorsport 5? Looks like Forza Motorsport 4. That's not a bad thing - except this one is one the Xbox One, so it's automatically worse. And, frankly, Gran Turismo 6 looked just as impressive visually - and it's a fucking Playstation 3 game.
Everything else was multi-platform in some way - even Project Spark. Not exactly filling me with confidence, and this isn't the killer line up Microsoft needed to drive the need for their disaster of a console.
Compared to Killzone and Second Son? Microsoft are pretty much fucked.
