The only instance I've seen where we have said someone has not seen enough of it is when someone said they saw five minutes and then dismissed it as bad right away. Imagine if I read one sentence of your argument and then decided it was bullshit. How would you feel?

5 minutes is plenty of time to decide whether or not a show is good.

I didn't mean a personal sense, in which I would agree with you, I meant in a sense in which you found yourself entitled to flame all who liked it and refer to it as cancerous.

Because I am allowed to, and because all of you dragged up something I strongly despise and put it somewhere I go frequently. If I did the same to you, I would expect nothing less from any of you.

Most of these (actually all except for this one) threads I've seen are nothing more than people like you asking why people like this, so flaming us for doing that makes little to no sense (leaning towards the latter).

Maybe you should think your analogy through first, given that this one makes no sense.

A bird taking a dump on your windshield is no different than ponies showing up on a website you like when you're a person who finds ponies distasteful. Incidentally, the problem with sub-forums is when you add one, where do you stop? Off-Topic encompasses all things that aren't games on this, a gaming website.
You get a sub-forum for TV added, and even if it encompasses movies too, then what about sports? What about art?

And let's say a TV sub-forum is added, and all these pony threads you're definitely not willingly subjecting yourself to are put there instead of Off-Topic; what happens when you want to talk about a TV show you do like, and instead find a pony thread? Are you again going to strap on your boots and go wading into the rainbow sea complaining about people liking what you don't like?

I think the more discussed topics (in this case, TV; I've only been a member of the forums for a short time so I wouldn't know too many of the other ones) would warrant their own sub-forums, with changes being applies as necessary.

And with them talking about TV shows they do like, shall we give them a chance to not read those threads? Perhaps they deserve one more.

Maybe once all the Anime and MLP threads go somewhere else we can bring back interesting off topics to the off topic subforum.

and best of all they wont get bumped constantly to page 2 by some kid who wants to talk about the same topic that already has a thread about the same thing and is two threads below it.

1) Do you have any suggestions for new and interesting threads? You know, as a member you're already pre-approved to make them! No need to wait for someone else to take the plunge, you can be the guy!

2) Right now, one pony thread on page one. None on page two unless you count the 'Good Recent Cartoon' thread.
That said, there are a whopping three threads on page two about Doctor Who!
Clearly the solution is simple;

So what you're saying is The Escapist should bow to your needs and go through the headache of writing up the HTML code for a new forums then asking the moderators for help to sift through the Off-Topic section to find all the TV related threads and move them into there.

I think the easier thing would be to not get your knickers in a twist and ignore the threads you don't like.
