She's everyone's favorite background character. Also, if you watch closely, it's almost EXACTLY the SAME as The Powerpuff Girls. Remember that show? the one ALSO done by Lauren Faust? The one where Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are carbon copies of the two parts of Bubbles' personality? Or maybe how Twilight is Blossom? Etc?
Anyways, that show was a big hit, so this one is too.

Maybe once all the Anime and MLP threads go somewhere else we can bring back interesting off topics to the off topic subforum.

Again, the OPs of these threads are not bronies. In fact I'd say this is likely the only Brony inspired thread in like a week and a half. Do not ever pretend you're playing the part of the hero, keeping the pony hoard back from overrunning the last bastion of human society. Again, YOU are the reason this thread is still going, if it weren't for YOU, this thread would have stopped on page 6, yet YOUR incessant need to be the last word in has kept us going for another two pages.

1) Fair enough, this one was made by someone who likely had seen the show. The others, asking what was so great about them, were not. Luckily they are not active right now, we can watch then corrode like beasts in repose.

I don't find myself wanting to talk about shows that often. I'm not a 'TV person'. And even if I do, I'll put on my wading boots and mumble to myself as I wade through the shit, just as I would if I had to walk through a sewer. However, with the ponies properly contained, I won't have a motivation to ragepost.

So what you're saying is The Escapist should bow to your needs and go through the headache of writing up the HTML code for a new forums then asking the moderators for help to sift through the Off-Topic section to find all the TV related threads and move them into there.

I think the easier thing would be to not get your knickers in a twist and ignore the threads you don't like.
It's the sign of a strong mind to deal with the things you don't like in life.

And making them go away is a pretty good way of dealing with them, no? Besides, there are numerous benefits to having a TV subforum. The mere existence of a sub-forum serves as an icebreaker that encourages more threads on that specific subject. More threads on all TV, including your ponies. Isn't that exactly what you want?
