I'm a simple man, I'm an old man

but seriously? I've been out of the loop too long apparently. This is allllll over /co/ Is this show REALLY that good? I mean seriously. Do YOU yes YOU the reader of this post- not OP- really like MLP or do you just do it to cling onto the newest Supermeme of the internet? If it's the former, fine. We all have our hobbies and interests. If its the latter, really think about it. You're jumping onto a bandwagon for a show marketed and made for little girls (which I doubt you are)
Is it worth the lulz? Is it?

Essentially, it's bandwagon to start watching, that's why everyone watches it, but you only continue to watch it if you like it.

I'm a big fan of the series, though I have to say that MLP does seem to be the perfect trolling method. You're making people angry by just mentioning adorable cartoon ponies. THAT is lulz worthy. Frankly, seeing the internet going into civil war over a kid's show designed to sell toy ponies is pure comedy gold.

And I think I'll pass, I've got enough shows recording at the moment. Thanks for a recommendation though.
Then watch it while they record. Every episode has been uploaded to youtube, as Hasbro so far doesn't seem to have any problem with people doing so (perhaps adding to the popularity, who knows?)
I had to guess, I'd attribute that look to being the reason people find furries so creepy.
Even if Hasbro disapproved they couldn't do shit; they don't have the rights to the cartoon.

Yes, I like it. Unfathomable, isn't it.

I have to admit, that was one of the initial draws of it for me beyond it's own qualities. The fact that on the internet, a place filled to the brim with swearing, porn, and assorted other nasties, it was pictures of cute ponies that really pissed people off.

Would you all please take this MLP junk and throw it into a fire. I am sick and tired of hearing of it.
You realise of course, such an intellectual as yourself, that you dragged your arse into a pony thread specifically to tell the pony thread that you don't like being in pony threads.

My favorite is pinkie pie because she can freestyle like no other, throws parties that make those college keggars seem like nothing, and she saved an entire town with a tuba.

Twilight.

Nerdy emo pony who reads too much and has trouble interacting with other people? Give her magic powers and she's Raven from Teen Titans! Oh, wait, they even have the same voice actress.

But yeah, Twilight rocks the awesome all day and all night. Most specifically at the point where day turns into night.

Cartoons have never been good since Tom and Jerry was toned down. The only thing remotely watchable nowadays is the Penguins of Madagascar, reruns of Warner Bros stuff and maybe...na, thats it.
Animaniac reruns, if you can find them, are always worth a laugh.

That was the last "Good" cartoon IMO. The 90s had some awesome animation work, with Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Animaniacs, and basically everything from the Cartoon-Cartoon lineup.

God damn I miss those days.

Every time I have seen ponies come to a site, they take over. The next thing you'll know, we'll have multiple threads everyday....oh, wait, WE ALREADY HAVE THAT. On /co/, the comics and cartoons division of 4chan (yes, THAT 4chan), the mods actually put rules into place stating that there could only ever be one pony thread at any given time. Rules! About how many threads you can have on the same show! ON 4CHAN!

Please, sterilize the infection now before it spreads.
That's it, the kid gloves come off, naugh!

Just embrace the madness brother/sister and soon the hypnotic insanity of Pinkie will make everything mellow.

I don't like the fact that there are ANY pony threads. 1 would be tolerable. 2 is unreasonable. 3 or more is unacceptable.

while it is true cartoons are not as good as they used to be, there are several great ones out there. Plus mlp is definetly could be mistaken for a 90's cartoon.

What are you, judge of the supreme high court of the internet? The show is popular, naturally some threads get made. Get over it.

So I've been told. I've been meaning to check out MLP at some point, but I haven't yet had the time.
