I'm a bisexual girl and I have two best friends, a heterosexual female and a homosexual male. We're a pretty fun team!

Um... I have three spheres of friends: the lot I see on a regular basis (i.e. at uni); the lot I've known for a while and exchange e-mails with, meet up whenever we get the chance; and the few that I can be separated from for years and yet randomly meet up and chat with as though it was nothing.

That group consists of: my straight boyfriend (>_> ... <_< I swear that sounded better in my head, we have a romantic friendship); the only girl I'm willing to punch; a fellow geek/nerd (both terms applicable) from my undergrad days; and my confidante (from when I worked). So that's two and two. *shrug*

Male, best friend is a male; Yet I find that in general I prefer speaking to women. I find most men shallow, rude and (try to) show too much alpha male behaviour/compensational behaviour.

OP: Just out of curiousity; Does that male friend of yours know that he has been friendzone'd or not?

Yes, I'm sure he's aware as I'm pretty sure I've been friendzoned too! Unless he follows the male stereotype of no friendzoning, only lust, which I'm pretty sure he doesn't

I'm 18, a chick, and my best friend is male. Random fact: his little sister is two years younger than me, and he's known me longer. Sometimes people like that can feel like family, but I like that while it can kind of be like that sometimes, he's definitely my best friend and not my brother.

I am female and my best friend is male.
Before him I had also female best friends...but some of them betrayed me and took advantage of me...but one or two were loyal and good friends until we lost contact because we went separate ways.
My (male) best friend and I are friends for 10 years now and got to know each other in our teens.
We have a lot in common and in other things we couldn't be more dissimilar.

I'm a girl, and typically really bad at getting girl friends. It just doesn't work out. One of my really close friends is a girl, but apart from her, all my good friends are male.
