I have a pretty epic threshold, so I'd give torture a try. Already had the most severe form of ulcerous colitis, which makes every bowel movement more painful than childbirth. Was on a daily dose of 4000mg of ibuprofen, paired with a cocktail of heavier stuff. Got so bad I had to have my colon removed.

Then, the doctor botched the operation, and things ruptured. I was on enough morphine to sedate a rhino, but still felt like I had been gut-shot for a day. Miracle that I am still alive.

After that, I don't register much in terms of pain. And poop in a bag. Life good.

I guess it depends on how bad the torture is. If I'm left a vegetable afterwards, I choose death. If I can still be self-sufficient, then I would endure the torture. And find a way to repay my captors in kind.

Have you seen what happened to the survivors of torture? being a pussy has nothing to do with it, it's got more to refusing to live as a hollow shell of a man simply so those with power can run some misinformed hate campagn against videogames. Seeing the victims (survivors) of torture is lasting, it hurts people for years after the torture while a martyr dying in a blaze of glory is far less depressing for ones family/friends. at least that way you have a measure of control.
