Four year old kids can barely remember what they had for breakfast let alone that you took back his happy meal. I'm not risking my (albeit pathetic) job for a kid who won't remember what happened by the time he takes his afternoon nap.

I'd probably tell the kid that it's early enough to stop eating trash like MacDonalds for good. Never did hold with marketing. Or the catering industry in general.
Actually, I think if I worked in MacDonalds, it would probably end in some hilariously vindictive debacle. God, I hate fast food.

Take it back, if we can save one child from the spoiled generation of entitlement that is currently spreading... and make him understand that everything is earned, not deserved, we'll have a fighting chance in the future!

Of course I wouldn't give him the meal. Just because you're young does not mean you can get anything as long as you either throw tantrums or look sad. Hell, I wouldn't even serve him in the first place since the first thought in my mind would be "Where the fuck are his parents?".

Wouldn't it be best to take it away for his own sake? He's essentially holding a box of clogged arteries.

I'd take the food away and maybe video tape his reaction and upload it to YouTube for some lolz

Depends if he needs it or not. I mean, if it was either of these kids:

Yeah... they can do without. But then if he looks *really* hungry, well, sure, he can have the processed glump.

I wouldn't give it to him, not just because he didn't pay for it, but because that stuff will kill him one day. I could never work at a fast food place because I couldn't live knowing I was giving incredibly unhealthy food to people (not that I care if people are eating it, I just dont' want to be the one providing it).

I would stop him and go looking for his mother.
The guy can be lost for all I know.
Then I'll get paid and I'll help a lost kid.
Although I'm supposed to be working so I'm not sure how that'll fly...

The kid's gotta learn to pay for his food. If he just gets the food for free then hes gonna do that again in some other store.

If he starts crying though, im gonna buy the food for him. :p

I'd take the meal away, I mean, I shouldn't have even given it to him in the first place seeing as he didn't play. I'd do it with a smile if he was fat bastard too. And probably frown a bit if he was a skinny, dirty street urchin who looked inward to someone's soul for even a speck of hope and goodness to get a meal.

I'm cold like that.

Well if I'm limited to those two options then I would let him have it. McDonals is a rubbish job anyways.

On the other hand, I would simply walk up to the little boy and ask where his Mommy and Daddy are, if he says "I don't know" then I'll tell him to go bring them because they have to pay for his happy meal.

I work at a hospital, we deal with lost kids all the time, kids are smarter than we think. They know they have to pay.

Someone has to teach him that you have to work to get what you want and that doing what he did is stealing, so yeah, I would take the happy meal. It would be morally wrong to let him get away with it, on many levels.

Then, I would probably help find his parents and give him a treat.

But this is only in theory, of course, because I would probably not be capable of doing that to a random little kid. What can I say, I'm an immoral bastard.
