That's easy.
[HEADING=1]MIRANDA![/HEADING]
I already killed her off in all of my playthroughs. Bioware better not retcon her death.

Thane, that damn emo-frog. All he does is mope and whine. On top of that, he's an assassin. I don't trust those types and with the type of mission we're doing, what good is an assassin in the first place? It's not as if he's going to be around much longer anyhow, so why not help him on his way?

I would kill Grunt without even batting an eyelid.

I found him dull (seeing as he has no backstory) and I get the feeling that he was only really included just so that we could have a Krogan in our party.

But, y'know, that's just, like, my opinion, man.

Jack. Yech, a crazy bald chick. Her abilities are pretty potent, though. Jacob can be pretty annoying too, but Jack has to die.

I know you're not trying to upset me, nor are you even unintentionally. I'm just trying to dissuade you from spending 6+ hours attempting the impossible.

If you're absolutely determined to try it, by all means, go for it. And if it works I'll admit my mistake. But I really think it'd be a waste of time on your part.
Actually, I was thinking of opening a thread asking if anyone has actually done it successfully (or tried and failed).

Anyway, I wouldn't replay the game JUST to try this. I'd be replaying anyway.

What I would do is avoid recruiting someone - probably Samara, as Jack and Thrane pretty much make up for her mechanically. Then I'd make a separate save and try to advance the plot without recruiting.

I still need to try playing Sentinel and Engineer....

But yeah, just creating a thread to ask everyone at the Escapist would probably be faster. A data pool that large, I bet someone's tried it.

I don't trust Jack. She is too unstable to be part of a military outfit, regardless of her powers. Samara, I find, is much more useful anyway.

f*** miranda, who needs her?

she was the only person to die that I didn't yell out about in my ending (legion, thane, and miranda, in case you were wondering)

Ok, a lot of Jack hate in here I see. I thought she was pretty reasonable considering she was physically abused as a child, experimented on, forced to wander her whole life being used by people and her only escape was pretty much being imprisoned on a mission that nearly guaranteed an imminent demise. Oh yeah and the people that are keeping her under lock and key are the same organisation that experimented on her.
That'the problem.

I'm not running a mental clinic or a self-help center here, I'm going on a suicidal mission and we must succeed. This means that I have to have people I trust, they must be focused and they must fallow orders.

Can you trust Jack, can you honestly believe she will fallow orders? She was a reasonable character if you isolated her in a bubble. But is she someone who would be part of an operation like that? No, never, not in a million years.

I'm sorry, but sticking Jack and Miranda on the same option is just outright ridiculous.

Why in the world would you pair the two most likely selections together? -_-

Anyway, Jack all the way. I would give anything for the option to just leave her on the prison in the first place.

Thane is a quiet, whiney and strange little man, miranda is irritating and has daddy issues up the wazoo, and Jacob is a dull, uninteresting character.

Killing them all would be a heavy risk, but the priiiiizzeeee.......

I don't really want to kill any of them. They're all at least somewhat interesting.

Wait, you forgot Zaeed. Can I kill him? I never really liked him.

EDIT: Why are Miranda and Jack and Garrus and Legion together? The latter two have very little in common, and out of the 4, I only kinda dislike Miranda.

Whats the name of the new Jersey Shore looking mother fucker in the next game?
I'd kick his ass out of an airlock anyday.

James Vega. Yeah, I really don't like the look of him.

I'd go with Miranda and Jack. Too annoying. I don't get the hatred against Jacob though. Sure, he's not as interesting as Mordin or Tali, but I liked him. Similarly, I'm surprised that Garrus and Legion are 'Fan favourites.' Garrus won't even speak to you for half the game, and Legion isn't around long enough to really become attached to, although it is perhaps one of the best looking characters in the game.

Wow, looking through some of these posts, I'd say some people are just picking the most poular characters just to try and be different.

After realizing Jacob reminded me of Foremen (from house) and Miranda reminded me of Cameron (also house) I decided to role-play as this

was awesome fun, this occur to anyone else???
After looking at the Box art... I actually made a character I called House Shepard with a look to match his, lol.

I decided to kill Grunt because he seems like he could the greatest threat to myself in the immediate crew. I think I could work a deal with legion to end the Turian - Geth War, that is the only reason he stays.

My first choice would be Zaeed. As he's not a choice in this then I would have to go with Jacob. He's just too boring for me.
