GTA protagonists that`s who (though i think they just keep it in their pockets, but you get the idea)Blitzkrieg8 said:Who Carry 50,000 dollars in their wallet?C117 said:If the wallet has something in it that makes you able to identify the owner, I'll return it. If not, I think I'd take it for myself (unless there was, like, 50000 bucks in it. In that case I could just nick a few hundred and nobody would notice)
If they removed them before/during that (i think it`s 6 months) claimant period then they are indeed stealing.and someone took your credit card!? unless you left your PIN in there or they could do a perfect forgery of your signature (assuming it`s an old-school card)then that`s just a one way ticket to prisontownJaythulhu said:If you take something from the wallet, you're a thief, simple fact. The contents are not yours, and taking something that does not belong to you is the legal definition of stealing.
Having lost my wallet a couple of times (and having it returned minus cash / credit cards), I'm of the opinion that if you take anything, you're a thieving c**t, and deserve to be hit by a bus.
It's an old-school card, and I got the wallet back within the next week each time.timmytom1 said:If they removed them before/during that (i think it`s 6 months) claimant period then they are indeed stealing.and someone took your credit card!? unless you left your PIN in there or they could do a perfect forgery of your signature (assuming it`s an old-school card)then that`s just a one way ticket to prisontown
Good on your friend. Damn you for being willing to steal someone else's money.The_Healer said:This happened to me and my friend.
Unfortunately he picked it up so I couldn't grab the money before he turned it in.
Damn him and his honesty, there was more than $300 in that wallet.

Food? Blah. When I was a university student saving for my gaming pc, I had to choose between putting money aside or having quality food each week. Needless to say, I lived on 2 minute noodles.The_Healer said:To be infuriatingly childish: Finders Keepers!
On a more mature note, as if you don't like money.
I could have bought so much food with that money.... *Drooling*

Money ain't that important that stealing cash that doesn't belong to you is right at any time, I don't care how broke you are or how long you've lived on the streets. If I can somehow afford to pay my rent, electricity and other bills and still keep myself fed on my meager income (less than 15k per year), than anyone can.
By the way, $63.10Macgyvercas said:How much is £40 is USD?
Probably return it.
