I got one a really, really long time ago. It was back when the full out system wasn't in place, it was something about piracy, and I had gotten a PM from a mod that was like don't talk about piracy. When the health bar system finally got installed a long time after I was like huh...wait why do I have 1 green bar. I complained about it and about installing something that would diminish strikes against the health bar and a while later I either got pardoned for it or the health bar strike diminish kicked in. No idea which, but I have a clean bar now.

I've never gotten a ban, even when I get into an argument with someone I try to phrase everything as unoffensive as possible while still making my point

Over the years i've been a member, i think i have only gotten one warning, and that was for answering a thread with "No."

I was almost clean, only had a few more months, but a Happy Gilmore quote misconstrued as something serious landed me a warning.

Even after explaining what it was, I still didn't get it appealed, so remember kids, add disclaimers to everything because some people don't watch movies.
The same thing happened with me with a family guy quote. I did appeal and it was overturned though.
I had been clean for nearly 2 years too.

It's not like it was a serious thread either, it was a joke thread, and I still got a warning.
You sound like you relapsed on heroin or something.

It's two years after your LAST warning/suspension. One point is removed from your record every six months, and if you manage to go two years straight without invoking mod action, you've earned a clean slate regardless of what your Health Meter looked like before.

That said, they do keep track of your previous record, so if you try and exploit the system (getting your troll-groove on every two years, etc), they will take notice.

On topic: I've got nothing. No warnings, and hence no stories about how I got them.

That too >_>

Point is, the rules are there to punish people who intend to make the place a worse place to be, not to punish people just because a joke went awry.

Two, I think. Well, if a probation before the current system counts as a warning.

One was for derailing a thread in 2009 and one for calling a dickhead a dickhead back in 2011. All clear now though, although I suspect that may change some when in the near feature.

Don't remember my warnings but 2 suspensions (maybe 3). One was for saying the first law I'd pass as ruler of the world is a ban on gay marriage, and I think 2 because I don't believe it's possible to change your gender and I think I might've been offensive about it. That was all a long time ago and my forum health has really recovered.

Been here since what 2008? Never got suspended. Had a warning once and it was a misconception people made. Trick is mostly how you say thing than mostly saying them. That, and don't get into pointless debate.

I don't troll, like I said, I deserved my first 2 warnings and I know that, I wasn't following the rules and changed accordingly.

So I will have a clean slate sometime in March or April next year (when I got my first warning) *sighs* This time I can keep it clean though.
Sounds about right. Best of luck to you!

Easy, Daystar. I remember the post that got you. I even mentioned it in my Basement thread [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/534.402960.16638435] in the PubClub forum. C'est la vie was your comment to me when the appeal didn't work.

Think of it this way--anytime some poster grumps about "favoritism" you can use this as proof that they're talking out of their asses. Have a hug, Bro.

I had two at one point ... I don't remember what one was for, but I know the other was a post I made that was misinterpreted as being prejudiced against the people of my country. I don't remember the exact post, I just remember it dawning on me how it must have come across lol. Always double check that kind of thing XD

I can't remember, but a mod said I once got a warning for something kinda bizarre, he wouldn't tell me what it was!
But unless he was messing with me I've never gotten one.

Never. I'd like to keep it that way until I reach 20k, then I might go out in a fire. But you guys are way too nice to make me even consider anything like that, so I'll pass.

I've always had a clean record even though I have on occasion posted stuff that would normally net a warning at least. Most likely because I try to add something of value to every post, even my negative ones so maybe that's why the mods have let me off the hook in the past.

My record here is pretty clean, think I got a low content some time ago. On Gamefaqs I got suspended twice for my casual swear dropping, though.

Haven't had any yet. Hope not to. Promoting love & tolerance & all that.

Though I am a bit surprised that I didn't get one for recommending to everyone--mostly my fellow bronies, but really everyone--that if they feel someone is being inflammatory or overly-argumentative, click on their profile and take a look at their health meter, then make your
own judgement about whether it is worth arguing with them or not.
