Poll: You have a time machine. What do you do with it?

Congratulations! Someone just gave you a free time machine for one use and you get to come back when you are done if you so choose. So where and when would you go and why?

I go back in time, find the person who was about to create the Spork, make him 'disappear,' invent the Spork, place the money in a nice bank account, go back to the present, and live the high life.

I invent something and make tons of money.

I'd probably go in the past to fix a few things. Personal things. Beyond that... i'm not so sure.

I'd go back and stop the frakker who stole my first time machine I left parked in th garden.

Oh, and I'd probably go back to when I was 16, and tell myself not to go near that first girlfriend because she was a whole bag of crazy.

I'd go back to when I was maybe in the 6th or 7th grade, write down a list of things I need to do and shouldn't have done. And then beat the crap out of my young self until he promises to follow the list and get his shit together. And threaten to come back and beat him again if he doesn't follow it.

I go to the future to check up on the human race. If it's okay, I stay there. If not, I go back to the present to tell everyone they're making a mess of things. They had better believe me, or I'll go to the past to erase their parents.

It depends on how time works with this time machine. If altering the past alters the present in unknown ways, I go to the future, steal some invention, and then "invent" and sell it.

If altering the past changes the present in a way I can foresee, I fix all the mistakes I made thus far (at least) to improve my present.

me too, fixing one or two personal mistakes is also a very attractive thought, pretty much anything in the past, just dont mess with the future, the future is ever-changing, so whats the point of knowing every single detail about one possible future, just not helpful.
