Throw it the fuck away. Why the hell would I want to cure all diseases? Haven't you ever heard of overpopulation? Not only is disease good, but curing it is irresponsible.
Give it to people who deserve it for free. If they have Cancer or something, yeah, give it to them. The have no choice. But if someone has AIDS, that's their fault. Perhaps I could invent some type of conscience detecting administrator that only gives it to the people who honestly need it (and I'm talking generally good people, not perfect).
I'd distribute it. In addition to ending the pain of countless people, just think of all the resources that would be freed up if disease was taken care of. The USA alone spends billions on medical stuff every year IIRC.

For those saying destroy or hide it, just sell it to "Big Pharmaceutical" companies for $1 billion. They'd be more than happy to hide it from the world. Don't believe me? Which is more profitable: Selling one drug once, or selling dozens of drugs for months or even years?
That reminds me of a tech show I saw 20yrs ago called "Beyond Tomorrow". They showcased bleeding edge technical discoveries that were still in prototype stage, but fully functional. One was a clothes washer that used sonic waves in water to knock the dirt out of clothes. It was even safe to put your hand in the water while it was on. Zero detergent was required. Just a one time purchase of this special washer was all a consumer would need. Has anyone seen one of those for sale yet? Me neither. The inventor even mentioned several big laundry detergent companies were interested in his device, but he was concerned they would bury it.

This guys got the right idea. Give it to the gov, try to sell it to them if they aren't gonna play hard ball and just take it, and let them regulate it.Dango said:

(not completely obviously, but damn, we need to realise that resources are finite and your child isn't special amoung 6 billion. Drop childbirth by 80% for 20 years and so many problems would be fixed. Adjusting those figures for the numbers saved by my drug).

I would use it to control the world. Build a business around the drug, market it as a miracle cure. Once the money starts coming in, start isolating the components of the drug that cure individual illnesses like cancer and diabetes, and start mass producing smaller parts of the drug. As the money really begins rolling in, start investing and absorbing other pharmaceutical companies, and have secret market shares in all other pharmaceutical companies. Start lobbying the government, acquire seat on Council of Foreign Relations, spread rumors of my panacea. Once the other Council members start moving in to acquire it, use dummy companies and satellite companies to buy out their assets until i am the most powerful person in the world. Destroy each of them one at a time financially and then physically. Take control of American government, enact a number of sweeping social changes before lowering the price of the individual disease cures so that the common man may partake in it without the assistance of insurance companies. Singlehandedly save American economy, reestablish it as global super power. Use my massive amounts of cash to ensure man remains free from oppressive governments. Lobby when appropriate.
Oh please, by the time people are at my door I've already used it to make my friends and family immune to everything, at which point I destroy it, and my research notes, keeping only the raw information that is accessible to everyone anyway.
