So a million quid or a key that has little more then sentimental value...... yeah definitely the money. Unless, if I remember correctly, at some point the keys were worn round the neck to make the wearer effectively invisible, during that thing to do with the Master, if it could do that definitely the key.

I'm not big on Dr. Who, but the TARDIS is a time machine, right? then I would totally take the TARDIS key, then travel back in time and choose the money as well.

Having the Tardis key would inevitably lead to you at least encountering the Doctor in your lifetime, since he could show up at any moment. The theatrical rule of "if you show a gun in the first act, it has to fire by the third" works in your favor. There's no way the Doctor wouldn't find you. And even if hostile aliens somehow found you first, he'd still show up to rescue you. Now, the question is whether you'd be in a position to become his companion. If not, would it be worth it? No, not really. If so, the key. Definitely.

Can't go wrong with the tardis key! love doctor who.
Also you would think that, considering the amount of people here taking the key, that it would be a contest to see who gets the tardis.

I'm not involved or know anything about doctor who. Could someone tell me if the key also comes with the TARDIS?

The money. I don't watch Doctor Who, so I don't know what powers the key has by itself. In any case, £1,000,000 translate to a bucket load more in Australian dollars.

The Key, because if I can find a TARDIS, I can then make an easy Million by going back in time, getting a couple of dollars from 17th Century America, then jumping back to the 21st century and cashing it in.

$1 million isn't a large enough sum of money to offset the awesomeness potential of TARDIS related shenanigans.

The money.

I don't have the knowledge and foresight to safely use a inter-dimensional time machine, even my most innocuous test drive would probably fuck things up in ways I couldn't even begin to imagine.

Hell, The Doctor's a Timelord and look at all the trouble he gets into and the problems he causes just 'innocently sightseeing'... I'd probably cause untold havoc just turning the TARDIS on and trying to park it.

Tardis key, that semi invisibility feature it has would come in very handy, i could probably make more money using that ^_^

Wasn't there some feature built into the Key that allowed whoever held it to remotely control the TARDIS? Or am I thinking of something else?
Anyway, TARDIS key. If the TARDIS shows up - awesome. If it doesn't - I've got a very rare collector's piece that if I ever need money I could likely sell, though I really wouldn't want to.
it's not a remote control, but they do resonate shortly before their respective tardises land, or to pass on messages like in "The Eeventh Hour" when the doctor's TARDIS key glowed to indicate it was finished repairing
