I'm pretty sure I speak for all of us when I say we all want to live a bit longer.
The question here is, in which way?
There have been many proposed methods throughout the ages, i.e. the elixir of life, fountain of youth, the Astartes surgeries, or a mechanical body, among others. I wish to know your favourite method and why.
EDIT: Oh, yeah. Immortality does not equate to invincibility.

The difference between downloading your brain to a computer and mechanical augmentation is the downloading of the brain will put you in a computer, where you must stay. No entering mechanical humanoid bodies. You can, however, enter things such as vehicles and the like. If you are augmented, you must remain in that body.

The magic potion, while bestowing longevity, must be replenished every so often (insert reasonable amount of time to gather ingredients here).

External intervention means things such as, I don't know, a car key that will let you live longer so long as it is physically touching you (no eating it, though).

I wouldn't really want to be immortal as who I am now so "other" - since the best for me would probably be to be born immortal.

Whichever one can be interrupted. I don't want to live forever, I just want to live longer than normal. Probably the computer thing.

Brain in the computer one: play video games forever!!!!!

I mean hell, then I could literally live in an MMO - wouldn't that be something?

But nah, I like reality too much. The graphics are way better!

Technically, all of them can be interrupted externally. Meaning, as long as you stay out of harm's way, you live.

The Time Lords' method in Doctor Who, without a doubt. Sure, in addition to your appearance your personality alters a bit, but after a couple of centuries it would anyway...

(For those that don't know what I'm talking about: start watching Doctor Who. In the meantime: They regenerate.)

I vote mechanical augmentation. Over all though, I'd probably just have my brain input into a mechanical endo skeleton with flesh and hair grown over it (AKA the Terminator). The robot body would have to be powered by an arc reactor of course.

Surgeries, where I would stalk the living and kill them to take a new heart, liver or spleen - whatever was giving up on myself at the time so eventually I'd be a patchwork of my victims...

I want to be a computer-mind.

You may all begin to call me Omnius.

Anyone want to be my Erasmus?

I chose mechanical augmentation, because it would kick ass to be a dreadnaught. (warhammer:40k)

I would regularly back-up my brain to a computer, that way once I die, I could be uploaded into a new genetically engineered body.

I guess uploading ones brain would be most logical, as there are already crazy theorists theorising just that.
My favorite, though? Well, there was this one mutant Wolverine. And, logically, he should live forever. But then they wrote that comic with him as an old man.
