Poll: Your favorite Apocolyptic Ending. Revised

We all think about, even if we don't admit it, the end of the world as we know it. What will happend? Would the K2 meteors brother come back to finish the job? Would humaninty, so caught up in war, create some new terrifying wmd, or would they use existing ones to make look as if we were never on this world?

My favorite one would be the premise of the "Fallout" franchise.
What are your favorite ragnarokian endings?

Since I'm in the "devil's advocate" mood, I'd like to say my favorite apocolyptic ending would be, "They all live happily ever after."

After awhile, boredom sets in as the full gravity of a world without conflict asserts itself. The boredom breeds madness, and then the killing starts.

But I'm writing this hesitantly because I come off as a bit of a wet blanket in pointing out that the opposite of a post-apocalyptic scenario is just as bad.

I'll go with zombies as well. At least I know I can go down fighting in a horde, instead of the inescapable death from above in all other likely scenarios. After all, in the event of an apocalypse, the point isn't to survive, its to die the best.

I'm going to say the best apocalyptic scenario I can come up with consists of me using an incredibly improbable way to shoot this lousy planet into the sun, whilst laughing maniacally from my comfy space station. (if you did not notice that I have a god-complex the size of Germany, then here's the confirmation)

Actually, depending on the scenario, I'm sure surviving can be apart of it as oppesed to getting horribly murdered by zombies.(If you do however want to fight them, hope that their the classic slow Zombies and not the kind from, lets say, "Cold Fear" that can sprint like an olympic runner.
